Meet the Cast of Glee!
On Tuesday, the world will finally get a glimpse of Fox's new musical show,
Glee. While it won't officially be on the schedule till the Fall, Fox will air the first episode on Tuesday after the final performance show of
American Idol. I was lucky enough to
visit the set of this darkly comedic satire and got some great scoop from the cast. The actors on the show include comedy veterans, Broadway stars, and some Hollywood newbies. Most of them slipped me some fun facts about themselves and their characters, so without further ado, meet the cast of
Glee!

Enjoyed the slide show, Buzz. Looking forward to watching Glee next week and in the fall.
1I am so excited about this show!! It looks absolutely hilarious!
2It looks really good and wish they were airing it over the summer!
3I can't wait for Glee--I am so excited!!
4just watched the pilot episode of glee, fantastic story, writing and casting jane lynch will be a great nemesis. i hope the writing keeps up and am looking forward to watching in the fall. i love it,something different and reminds me of how horrible high school is in one aspect, but also magical when you determine your own self. I'll be waiting.............................
5I DVRed this, almost didn't, but I'm glad I did! I've seen the previews for it awhile back, but I didn't know they were airing it last night until I was browsing the schedule. I think this show could be viewed as very stereotypical (the roles: the jock, the conceited wannabe, the nerd, ect), it can be considered really High School Musical cheesy (not to offend any fans) but when "the jock" stated that they were all losers (the entire school), that got me there. Really, everyone is flawed when it comes down to it. I'm interested to see where the storyline goes. Also, I was confused at first when I was looking for future episodes on schedule until I watched the end and they said "this fall"... what a tease.
One more thing... that Amber Riley cracked me up!
6officially in love with this show... can't wait to see more!
7Yah it was really cute!
Loved that Mileys bf was one of the jocks- the one with no lines. ha ha
And while I know its a TV show and the intention was to be funny, the gay guy being thrown in the dumpster 3 seconds into the show wasn't exactly funny. The handicapped boy being trapped in the port-a-potty was tacky also.. I really hope that high school kids have become more tolerant than they make it seem- again... I realize its a show- but shows should teach tolerance, not that its funny to be mean to people because they are different.
Soapbox broke-
8Glee is the best show I have seen in years...cannot wait till september
