Put the GO in Gokey!

Seriously, it's time for Danny to go. He's been, for the most part, consistently mediocre all season. I think he's decent karaoke. He could do fine in the whole Christian circuit, but as a mainstream artist, I think he'd be a failure. Maybe I'm wrong. He could go on to outsell Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. I think it's highly unlikely, but who knows. If he does, I'll happily eat my words.

I do think Kris and Adam both deserve to be in the finale. Vocally, Kris may have the smallest (which doesn't necessarily equate to weakest) voice, but what he may lack in vocals, he certainly makes up for with his musicality, his phrasing, his connection to what he's singing, his ability to make every song he sings sound like it was written just for him, etc. And Adam is all kinds of awesome. So, I'm really hoping for a Kris/Adam finale. IMO, they've given the strongest performances this season. Also, I think it's totally awesome that they were wearing matching blue nail polish in their hometown videos. I want to believe it's a sign on solidarity.

That said, I do think Kris is probably going to be leaving tomorrow. After he sang Heartless, it almost sounded like Ryan was eliminating him already when he was like "It's been a great season." I don't know, I just thought that was odd, the way he said it. And the producers have been after an Adam/Karaoke Gokey finale from the very beginning and they usually get what they want. Kris was just cannon fodder who wasn't supposed to make it into the top 12, yet somehow managed to crack the top 3. So I'm definitely expecting Kris to be eliminated tomorrow and the producers can have their dream finale.

Please please PLEASE let it be Gokey who goes home. Kris can't go, he is the next Damien Rice, if not better.

I'm rooting for a Kris/Adam finale. I agree with missbrooke 09, Danny's only good for the christian music curcuit. I would totally buy Kris's album, and Adam's just a rock star.

After last night I really want Kris to win.He reminds of Jason Mraz and I can see myself buying his cds.I would be so sad if he leaves.Gokey has to go.

I hope that the America feels the same way we all do and sends Gokey home! His head and ego are getting way too big and he doesn't have the talent to back it up!

OMG Yv, thank you for mentioning Damien Rice. A lot of nagging doubts in my head seem answered.. I KNEW he sounded like someone!
I live in India and they broadcast the performances tomorrow. Can't WAIT.
For Danny to go home, that is. I don't care how awesome he is. I hope Idol people read stuff like this for feedback if they plan on fixing the results. Because Kris can't go home, he's so PRETTY!

And sorry for the double post, but Danny really, really, REALLY looks like a paedophile to me for some reason. *shrugs*

I hope it's Danny taht goes home. I really want Kris to win. I can appreciate Adam's skill, but I just don't like his style and that tongue thing he does to hit the high notes creeps me out!

I do not like Danny, it sounds like he is breathing out really hard when he sings. It just isn't appealing. And I think Adam has an amazing voice, but he gets way to into the screaming and I am just not a fan. Kris on the other hand has a wonderful voice that will do very well commercially and I would buy his CD.

Adam could not be more amazing if he tried, which it never looks like he does. Although I definitely think Kris will do the best commercially. I'm really hoping for a Kris/Adam finale myself. I hope everyone here is right and Danny leaves tonight! Not much longer until we know!
