This week, I learned of a new, interactive site mapping pop culture landmarks. Say you're road tripping through Nebraska and want to see the massive office tower from About Schmidt — this site can help you find the address. Or say you find yourself near my Northern California stomping grounds — it can direct you to not just the famous Full House house but also the "Little Boxes" houses from the song of the same name and the stately church from The Birds.
The site's still missing a lot of landmarks (I can't believe it doesn't have the Home Alone house or any of the other famous Chicago locations I used to drive past in college), but it definitely got me thinking: What pop culture landmarks would you want to see for yourself? Have you ever visited any?

I've been to Cheers in Boston and visited a few of the places often frequented on Gossip Girl.
1I also accompanied a friend who begged to be let wild in the Fame high school only to have security escort her out.
I never really thought about it before, but for some reason the Fame high school popped up in my head before I read the above comment.
2I've been to the Travel Bookshop in London and the Christmas Story House in Cleveland. I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.
3Oh, Magnolia Bakery, Kings Cross Station....There are so many places that I have been that happened to be featured in movies, as well. I think the two I previously mentioned are the only two I really sought out, though. (The bookshop and the Xmas Story house.)
4Oh, and Abbey Road! I sought that out, I guess. This is fun to think of the places I've been. (OK, I'll stop now. I doubt the rest of you care.)
5I used to visit some of the Lost locations when I lived on Oahu, but other than that I've never really made a special trip. I guess I just don't think of them that much if I'm not already convenient to them.
6I've been to a lot of the lost locations, my best friend is hawaiian so last time we visited we went on a mission
The Hydra station was the coolest. I'd like to go to Alnwick castle which is used for Hogwarts. Beautiful!
7They aren't exactly considered "pop culture landmarks," but a few years ago I took a tour of many of the key Veronica Mars locations in and around San Diego. I was obsessed with the show at the time, so it was really fun!
8My favorite movie as a child was Grease, so it always makes me smile when I drive by Rydell High (actually Venice High School).
9I most want to go to Petra, Jordan to see their treasury that was used as the facade in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
10Being a Princess Diaries fan, I would have to say the refurbished firehouse that doubled as Mia Thermopolis's home in San Fran. I want to live in that house. Also, the 'Singles' apartment building in Seattle.
11I've been to Cheers in Boston too, but it's not like there are other places I'd like to go.
12what a good question... i cant think of anything of the top of my head but im sure if i sat down to think about it i can come up with tons
13i've been to the Hey Dude ranch in Tuscon, AZ. we used to vactaion there.
14Not really a pop culture locale, but I really want to go to the frozen hot chocolate place in NYC used in Serendipity. I was in London recently, but couldn't find Hugh's blue door apartment in Notting Hill, nor the home with the giant yard (oopsy-daisy) that they buy at the end of the film.
15I live in Boston, so my friends always want to go to Cheers.
I've been to one of the places in China where they filmed parts of 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'. I didn't actively seek it out - it was just a part of the tour.
