I asked a guy friend of mine who admits he's a "total fanboy" what he thought of this new trailer for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. His reaction? Between his childhood love of G.I. Joe and Sienna Miller as The Baroness, "It's like the fulfillment of too many adolescent dreams, all in one."
Ha! I want adolescent dreams fulfilled, please. In the form of a Jem movie. But anyway.
The first real trailer for this action flick gives us a glimpse of yet another childhood toy turned Summer blockbuster heading to theaters soon. From what I can tell, there are some bad guys who want to explode stuff (starting with the Eiffel Tower) and some good guys with amazing gadgets. I won't really care for it since it's not a superhero character, but my brother(s) might like it.

5Sort-of. Actually, I keep forgetting this movie is coming out and then when I do remember (in the form of seeing a blog post) I find it interesting again,lol. I will watch it when it is available to rent. I am much more excited about the Transformers sequel; for that film I will go to the theater.

10I grew up with an older brother, so we watched GI Joe a lot. I want to see it, but it is probably a renter.
11I just know I'll end up seeing it with my dad, even though it's not my taste at all. Luckily, I like Sienna.

Channing has the charisma of a rock, and I hate Sienna, so no.
22My boyfriend and I both drooled when we saw the trailer. This is honestly one of the few summers where the theatres will get our money.

26I think it looks good - as good as an over-CGIed, underwritten and underacted movie now- a-days can be. I actually loved GI Joe when I was a kid since I grew up with brothers, so the story interests me. and while I think he's a terrible actor and don't really find him attractive, there's still something I like about Channing Tatum...
