Uh-oh — all the cheese puff tossing in the world can't distract the employees of the Michael Scott Paper Company from the fact that their low, low prices are causing the company to go broke. But at the same time, Dunder-Mifflin has been rapidly losing clients to the Michael Scott Paper Company, and David Wallace pays a visit to the Scranton branch to figure out what to do about it. A chain of kissing up ensues (Dwight to Charles, Charles to David).

Did you like this episode of The Office? To read about some of my favorite moments and to share your own thoughts, read more.
- The Michael Scott Paper Company delivery van has Korean lettering on it, causing a woman to wordlessly climb into the van at some point, and stay there. I love that rather than try and argue with the woman, Pam just closes the door behind her.
- Michael drinks a mug of milk and sugar every morning.
- David wants Jim to join his meeting with Charles, but Charles says that Dwight has been his guy.
David: "Really? I find that extraordinarily surprising."
Charles says Jim has been a disappointment.
Dwight: "Come along, afterthought." - Once in the meeting, though, Charles starts to realize that Dwight is, you know, a little weird. And not always in the productive way. He says things like suggesting they fill Michael's office with bees. "My apiarist owes me a favor."
- I think this line from Pam is my favorite of the whole episode: "When a child gets behind the wheel of a car and runs into a tree, you don't blame the child. He didn't know any better. You blame the 30-year-old woman who got in the passenger seat and said, 'Drive, kid. I trust you.'"
- Jim's Dwight ring is just Dwight's voice saying "Idiot. Idiot. Idiot."
- Michael always thought the day Steve Martin died would be the worst day of his life. "I was wrong. It's this."
- Ryan never went to Thailand. He went to Fort Lauderdale. "There was a great pad thai place, though."
- Michael tells Jim that he accepts the buyout. Jim: "I will see you titans of industry upstairs."
Michael: "Yes, well, we are not only tight ends, we are also quarterbacks." - Wow! Michael gets David to increase the offer from $12,000 to $60,000! What?!
- Instead of the money, Michael gets their jobs back — with Pam as a salesperson! And Ryan. "I don't care if Ryan murdered his entire family. He is like a son to me."
- I can't wait to see if/how Pam being a salesperson will affect her relationship with Jim.
- "These are our demands. This is what we want. Our balls are in your court." David agrees to the demands, and Michael asks for the room. He closes the door, closes the blinds, and then squeals and high-fives are heard through the conference room windows.
- The lady is still sitting in the van!
- Charles tries to say a goodbye, but Michael doesn't let him. Triumph for Michael Scott!

This was a great episode, I thought it was soo sweet that Jim did all that so Pam is not miserable. Anyways cudos for a fantastic Office episode.
1One of the best episodes in a long time, so great.
2The past few episodes have been really funny and this is no exception.
3I love that Michael has actually been kinda sorta on the ball lately. Last week, he showed us that he's still a good salesman. And this week, he showed us that he has negotiation prowess. He's mostly an idiot, but he's just smart enough for us to not have to totally suspend our disbelief. Kudos, writers.
4I totally agree Whiplash. I really liked this episode and am glad that the old office gang is back together. My favorite scenes are usually the hijinks between Jim and Dwight, but Jim has had to be on his best behavior b/c of Charles.
5i too was impressed with michaels skills! Good for him! Fun episode, I loved how Dwight thought he was all awesome and Charles face when he talked about bees and the beet theft was priceless
6Great episode! I have been very impressed with Michael lately. Maybe the writers decided his stupidity was too over the top and made him seem competent again. I hope BJ Novak (Ryan) stays on the show.
7I loved toward the end when Dwight got the info about the MSPC being broke and ran to tell Charles, but Jim was smart enough to goad Dwight into looking like an idiot so Charles didn't believe him and the whole deal wouldn't be ruined. Especially how Jim goaded him involved a story about Dwight cracking the case of the beet thief who turned out to be Mose in socks. Classic.
8I also love that Jim is so amazing...in any other show they'd have his character sell out to get on Charles/David's good side (since Jim knew from Pam that Michael Scott company was broke). I was worried for a sec they'd make Jim a bad guy!!
9I was pretty impressed with Michael in the episode. He did good.
10Oh, how the turntables...
LOL.
11Wow, what a great episode! Very cool that Steve Carell directed this one.
12Loved this episode!
13Really enjoyed this episode-- Just when I start to lose hope on this show, they throw in a good one and pull me back in!
14I love this episode so much! I think my favorite part came at the last second, when Michael, in triumph, props one leg up on Jim's desk; Jim, pleased with the day's events, simply grins and points to Michael and they both beam with pride.
15the last three episodes have been great! i knew the michael scott paper company would shake things up for the show and i kinda suspected it would go the way it did.
i love when michael reminds us that he is quite business savvy despite being a moron in all other aspects.
i also thought it was great how jim worked everything out.
and i can never get enough dwight the bees sh*t and beet thief was soo classs dwight
16what an absolutely awesome episode!!! def one of the best office ones!
17Classic episode. I was so rooting for the Micheal Scott Paper Company and then they totally triumphed. Even Ryan's back permanently! And Jim saving the day as always... he's so amazingly awesome at winging it. And it was sweet to see Jim and Pam internation, as always. It will be weird though to see Jim look to Pam away from the receptionist desk.
18Oh and how the turntables... Classic
19yay great episode!
20@pinkflake2, i thought the same thing and if jim sold out, i would've stopped watching the show.
anyway, thought this was a great ep - so many classic lines. even my bf has been into the past few ep's and he doesn't like the office. i'm glad to see michael scott bring it - he was really annoying me prior to the MSPC. and oh dwight, lolz.
21I loved this episode the scene with the the woman and van made me laugh out loud
and "well, well, well, how the turn tables....."
22I wish I knew what the van said. Great episode!
23Loved it! I could do without Ryan back, but love when Michael pulls out something fabulous!
I wonder if Charles will be the new "Jan" or if he is gone for good...
24I knew as soon as Michael Scott Paper Company formed that Dunder Mifflin would end up buying them out, that they would demand their jobs back and demand that Charles be fired.
25I didn't expect it to happen so soon.
Yay, I like the way they resolved this storyline! I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
26Sooo glad that they didn't draw out the Michael Scott Paper Co. too long. I thought it was a clever change of pace, but it was good for it to be a short change.
27I loved this episode...it was hilarious! And I agree, Allyace, I'm glad that the Michael Scott Paper Company bit has come to a close. It was funny, but it definitely could have gotten old.
28I love that Michael is actually good at his job.He may be socially awkward, but he knows how to sell paper.
I loved when Angela and Kelly were listening outside the door and when Angela asked Kelly what she could her Kelly just mumbled.
Oh, how the turntables...
29I also loved this one,However I want Micheal and the dream team back in the office where they belong. So Dwight can get whats coming to him! Paybacks are a B--ch. And I hope he's ready to do the Laundry, Again! :]
30I loved this episode, so glad that the show is going back to it's funny ways again!
