I do adore her as much as everyone else...I make a point to see all of her films. The commercial is cute, but I'm just not feeling the song..especially towards the end when she starts singing about the cotton. I loved when she sang on Elf though, so I have high hopes for the next time I hear her music.

LOVE her! I don't see this as selling out at all - she exudes a pure, girly, quirky thing that makes her instantly likable. Way to go, Cotton casting agents!

I hate this song so much that I had to look up who sings it. IT totally sucks in my opinion. The vocals are terrible and the beat is so lame.

are you serious?...do you people need the batteries in your hearing aids changed er what?!?!?...What the bejeezus is the hype over this chick all about anyway?....If i wanted to hear a dog wailing in pain, I would go to the local pound..honestly, they need to put some sort of warning label on this commercial prior to airing it to give people a heads up to locate their remote control..and fast....geesh......cool schmool...there must be a zillion people out there with more talent...to the people in the ad campaign for this commercial, what say you try picking smarter next time?....oy and a very big vey!

I think it's TERRIBLE! I cringe every time this thing comes on--she sounds like she's bored, and can't hit a note to save her life. Yuck.

I thought I was the only one who didn't "get" Zooey's music. The only thing to get are some ear plugs. I'm so tired of lazy hipster-ish music. Just because you can sing bland and lazy whimsical music doesn't mean you should. Her voice is so grating. And that commercial is so stereotypical--"I'm just a cute hipster girl who shops at flea markets and rides a bicycle"--boring and overdone.

This commercial confuses me... it does not sound like Zooey at all. I went to theater camp with her when we were younger and know that she is classically trained. The vocals in this commercial do not reflect her talent or ability at all.

What? those last few comments were harsh. I just love her, she is so talented. I can't get enough of the cotton commercial. The first time I heard it, I new right away it was Zoeey. How can you not know it's her voice? I just recently became a fan. I remember the old ad , and I like the music in this one better!
