I didn't listen, but could it possibly be worse than the song from the original animated Transformers movie? The one that Mark Wahlberg sang in "Boogie Nights?"
I'm not bothered by bands who sell their songs for commercials. There is a commercial that plays a nice sized portion of The 88's 'Coming Home' and I just love it! I love the commercials with the Beatles songs as well, but what irritates me about that is Michael Jackson is getting paid rather than actual members of the Beatles.
Dr. Melfi's dismissal of Tony was surprising as was her willingness to acknowledge to fellow psychiatrists that Tony was her patient. So much for confidentiality! The last episode of The Sopranos will likely not tie up everything neatly, but I hope we see more of Dr. Melfi at the end to see her behavior through to resolution. What a great series this has been.
I'm with Lorelai - it doesn't bother me either. I say it's great for those bands who are making money! I'd much rather hear a Wilco song on a commercial than another stupid jingle that takes an old song and changes the lyrics to make it about the brand.
THE SOUP WILL AIR TWO SHOWS A WEEK THIS SUMMER? YESSSSSS! There goes my entire social life! Or at least two nights a week of it...
