It seems like ads for this little teen comedy have been everywhere I turn these days, and I can't figure out what to think of it. The trailer I saw in the theaters made me laugh out loud, but the previews on TV lately have made it seem a little dumb and cheesy. What do you think?
Adventureland follows James (Jesse Eisenberg) during his first Summer after college graduation as he works at the amusement park Adventureland. There he meets the cute Em (Kristen Stewart) and deals with some quirky bosses and co-workers (including the folks who run the park, played by the hilarious Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig).
Is this an in-theater movie for you, or a rental? Maybe you'll just wait until it's randomly on TV someday, or skip it altogether?

I actually have a bunch of high school old friends who worked at an amusement park for the summer when they were in college, so I can't wait to see this movie and laugh about it with them.
1It kinda reminded of Superbad so I would rather rent it so I could rewind and catch lines that I missed from laughing.

7It was filmed in Pittsburgh and Kennywood Park, so I feel like I must support a hometown filmed movie. That's part of the reason I saw Zach and Miri.
8I would have watched in the theater perhaps... if Ryan Reynolds wasn't involved. He's a comedy killer.
9I think it looks really cute and could potentially be very funny. And I like Kristen Stewart. My husband and I are going to see it on Friday night
10if ryan wasn't enough of a reason to see the movie - it just looks cute. sometimes you don't want to see a serious drama, and this is perfect for those times.
11This does look alright (commercials) and Superbad was hilarious but I think I'll hold out for it to be on tv or maybe rent it. I'm going through a SERIOUS 'fight it out on the big screen or I won't even bother with you.' phase right now.

15hells no. i do not like stewart. and no, it's not b/c i'm jealous of her role in the twilight franchise.
16Ok, after seeing it, I wish they had chosen someone else to play Kristen Stewart's part. She really can't act worth a flip. But other than that it was a very cute movie.
17i want to see it in the movies. seems really good. and kristen stewart is a very talented actress. cant wait to see it!!!
