One of Sci Fi's signature and most critically acclaimed series, Battlestar Galactica, came to a close on Friday with its series finale. It capped a week of events honoring the show, including a panel at the United Nations. Ending a long-running series is never an easy task, so use this space to talk back: Were you satisfied with the way the series wrapped up?

Last night was my birthday and I refused to watch it then. I still can't decide if I do want to watch it, I am VERY emotionally invested in this show.
1amloveaffair, be prepared to cry!
2I didn't get to watch until this morning, but I was very happy with it - there were things I wish they'd gone into more detail about, sure, but overall I was pleased. I'm not going to say any more, because I would hate to spoil it for anyone.
absolutely loved it!
3it was exactly how i wanted it to end! tears and cheers!
I don't think I've legitimately cried and been that upset in a good while. Overall I'm very very satisfied except for Kara leaving like that but I understand why it happened. I was also a bit disappointed with the graphics and with the dialogue between Caprica and Gauis near the end/the end. I bawled at the Bill/Laura parts, Kara jumping the Galactica, "Nothing but the rain", and Papadama taking the last viper out.
I think i'll be depressed for a good while.
4There were a lot of surprises in the way it ended, but that's what I loved about the show: they put characters first and foremost, and people are truly unpredictable. In other words, they didn't come up with plot points and have the characters act out an idea in someone (the creator's) head. I felt that the show grew as the creators saw the actors and actresses themselves growing into (becoming) their roles. Especially the blonde avatar, Tricia Helfer?
5Looks like I am the odd man out, but I thought this last season was a massive let down for die hard fans like myself. They have always waited way to long to put out each season, but this one was a twist just waiting for it. They squeezed way to much into the episodes, it should have been a longer season. I was very disappointed in this entire season. My best friend and I have watched the entire series every year at my house and after every episode this season we were just left upset. It's over now and I am left jaded by the decisions they made in the writing for this last season. The final episode to me was just icing on the cake of let-downs. I have bought all the seasons, but I may never by the final one, just because it was that bad to me.
6"I thought this last season was a massive let down for die hard fans like myself."
I'm a die hard fan. It's also not Ron Moore & Co's decision to wait so long. It's SciFi.
7I was so satisfied with the ending. It wrapped it up, explained everything, didn't put too many last min. twists in and made me cry.
8"Nothing but the rain." Yes, I cried!
I loooooved it! I cried so much during the final hour and the first hour had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I woke up in the middle of the night still trying to put all the pieces together. I'm going to miss this fracking show
9"I'm going to miss this fracking show."
That's so perfect Curlywhirl!
