It's pilot season in Hollywood, which means networks are starting to look toward the future for what shows will be on the air next Fall. And inevitably, as new shows come in, some of our old favorites get a one-way ticket to cancellation-ville.
It's sad to think about — I always want to believe that the shows I love will live to see another season — but I'm curious to know which shows you'd feel the saddest about losing before next Fall. Since one of my favorites, Pushing Daisies, already bit the dust, I'm now crossing my fingers for NBC's delightful Chuck to make it through for another year. It's improved so much in its second season that it's definitely the show I'd miss most if it went away today.
What about you? What show would you be saddest to see go?

12I'm still super sad that Pushing Daisies was cancelled, but yeah, out of the ones I watch now that I suspect miiight have a chance of getting cancelled, Chuck would be the one I'd miss the most. Or, well, How I Met Your Mother, but even though they ordered just 5 new episodes recently (what is up with that?) and haven't renewed it yet, I can't see it getting cancelled, as it is fairly popular. But I won't feel completely safe until they do, because a cancelletion there would depress me greatly.
I don't know how The Big Bang Theory are doing ratings-wise, but I'd definitely miss that one as well. Most of the other shows I watch are either almost guaranteed renewal or not something I'd miss all that much.

15I adore both shows and there's nothing remotely similar on TV right now.
I'm still bummed that Pushing Daisies was cancelled. I just finished season 1, but I love love love it and it's a shame there's just one more season of it. And I miss Lipstick Jungle... So, now there's only Friday Night Lights to take... I really hope it sticks around for a long time, it's the best show on tv right now...

19ABC has broken my heart enough between Big Shots, Pushing Daisies, and Dirty Sexy Money that I no longer have an attachment to the current thursday night line up. Plus, I'm so far behind I don't care. The only show that could break my heart for real is 24. That will be an extremely sad day when that show ends. Ugh, this season has been so fabulous. The year break was hard enough. I dare not think about the end of the show.

21I agree with those who said Mad Men. As much as I hate it right now, I would miss Ugly Betty if it was to be cancled.
22i would be so upset if Chuck was cancelled. I love that show! And I definitely probably wouldn't watch Hero's if Chuck wasn't on first.
23I liked Chuck in the beginning but I don't find myself longing to watch it anymore. I always hear rumours of Ugly Betty getting canceled, that would be upsetting. A lot of people mentioned Mad Men, I wasn't aware it was on the chopping block lol? But I would be really sad if it did canceled!!

36Buzz, I'm with you. I'm mourning "Pushing Daisies," & would be heartbroken if "Chuck" got cancelled too. I'd also be sad if "Bones" bit the dust.
37i actually really liked privileged - and would be sad if that didn't come back. i'm still a bit sad that Lipstick Jungle seems to be gone - seeing as how all the main stars (aside from brooke) are now on new shows.
