Director Sam Mendes has gone from helming Revolutionary Road to Away We Go, yet another relationship-y film (though this one looks far less devastatingly sad than Revolutionary Road). Back when we first heard about this movie, I somehow assumed it would be a sort of light and happy comedy, but now that the trailer's out it more closely resembles something like Juno or Garden State. Except, you know, with John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph in the lead roles.
Krasinski and Rudolph play a couple expecting their first child and who "travel around the U.S. in order to find a perfect place to start their family." A nice assortment of cool, random actors pop up in supporting roles, including Maggie Gyllenhaal, Allison Janney, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Daniels, Cheryl Hines and more. huh - i think that both actors have good potential to have a great movie here, so hopefully we'll hear more about it once we get closer to the release in June.
1I am so excited about this movie for a myriad of reasons, not the least of which is that Allison Janney is in it and she makes just about everything better. Seriously. I am dragging my ass to see 9 to 5 on Broadway just to see her. She is phenomenal.

29Wow so many things I want to say after seeing that trailer:
1) The trailer alone was so touching I teared up. When Alison Janney asked them if they were finally getting married after having the baby...let's just say it really hit home for me for various reasons.
2) It's so great to see both Maya Rudolph and John Krasinski in dramatic roles here. And it looks like they work soooo well together in this movie, like I could totally see them being a couple.
3) Can't wait! I want to see this movie
