Bravo's Real Housewives franchise has already introduced us to the lives of fabulously wealthy and occasionally out-of-touch women in Orange County, New York, and Atlanta. Now, in May, we'll be meeting yet another crew of Real Housewives, this time in New Jersey. I'm assuming the show's second northeast edition will have more of the same money and McMansions we've come to expect — and which might, confusingly enough, be the kind of escapism we want in this recession — so tell me: Can you handle a fourth edition?

sadly enough - i have to say that i'll probably watch it and really enjoy it. i grew up in jersey and the area that these women live in is very familiar to me. it'll be funny to see how they live their lives - since there's a level of what they do for TV to make it seem better than it is, and then there's the 'real' side of it all.
1I think you do one of these shoes in many cities. I live in a ritzy part of Southwest Florida and there are a ton of housewives they could do stories on and a lot of them married for money and have about a 20 year age difference.
2I meant shows not shoes....duh
3I voted yes, because I love the Housewives, but I'm not sure I understand why NJ. We already have NYC, and while NJ is definitely different from NYC, I would prefer to see something more distinct, like Chicago or somewhere in Texas even.
4i agree on the florida concept, i lived down there for a couple years and could def. picture a housewives show down there. and being from illinois i would LOVE a chicago housewives!!
5Anywhere but New Jersey!! Why did they have to take it to New Jersey?
6I watch late in the season when I can get back to back eppi's...and lots of junk food in one setting.
7I agree with all of you, I would watch a new Houswives, but why NJ? Out of the current Housewives, I like NY the best.
8I could watch it if it was in another area, NJ seem so boring.
9No these women act like teenagers. I'd rather watch a show where high school kids behave like that- at least they have an excuse
10Never even seen the show, so whatever...
11I am SO bummed out they picked NJ as their next site. What fruit will people in NJ hold in the promos?!
We already have apples, oranges, and peaches. I was hoping for Hawaii and they could all hold PINEAPPLES!
Stereotypical? Yes. Amazing? Definitely.
12They need to do one in Boca Raton!! I have been saying that from the beginning! I agree with the other comments mentioning FL in general. There are so many So Fla cities that could qualify!
