Episode 18 is coming! Episode 18 is coming! Can you tell I'm excited? Monday nights just haven't been the same without the self-absorbed Upper East Siders of Gossip Girl. Time without them made me realize how vital watching these youngsters make terrible life choices is to my viewing enjoyment.
I'm thinking specifically of Dan and Rachel the teacher. Remember, they had sex the last time we saw them because she was fired, so, you know, what the heck — but tonight, she's back at school teaching. According to the CW, they will "agree to stay away from each other in the aftermath of being discovered as more than teacher and student, but find it impossible to keep that promise." Jeez, here we go again.
Meanwhile, Serena will develop a crush on someone new, and Chuck's old nemesis Carter Baizen (guest star Sebastian Stan, most recently seen heating things up on Kings) is back in the picture and making all kinds of waves. Oh, and the big event of the night is a Constance Billard production of The Age of Innocence, so that should be fun.

Wooo! I'm so excited, finally. I've been waiting so long for this... and hated that the CW made us wait so long! I'm over Dan and Ms. Carr, though it does add more drama to Dan and Serena which is needed.

2I am so mad at CW for putting all their shows on that long of a break! I will still get sucked in and watch it though!
3I just started reading the LUXE series which reminds me of Gossip Girls but it take place in the early 1900's. So its all the drama but no cell phones to spread the gossip just pure shock when it all goes down in front of you without warning! Love the drama!

however, i cant remember the story line with carter (maybe tonight will help me)...was he the one from yale???

5I hope I'm not alone in saying that I had NO IDEA what was going on in that clip? Is the girl the one in the mask from the last episode who "disappeared"? Who's the guy? What??
6well since there's really not much else on, i think that i'll be tuning in tonight. it'll be the first time in a long time - so i hope that it lives up to the hype
7I'm excited! Although I think the whole thing with Dan and Rachel is such a dumb plotline. And of course Serena likes someone new, the girl can't be single for more than 5 minutes. But still excited!
8I watched it yesterday and it was great.
The play and costumes were fabulous.
All I will say is that teacher is something else.
I live in Canada and they showed it a day early.
