As the host of the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, Sarah Silverman made fun of Paris Hilton and Jack Nicholson chuckled, she briefly sang a song with dirty lyrics, and she near-kissed Jessica Biel. Most of all, she kept the opening short and she called out the fact that the "Music Television" channel has an awards show for movies. What did you think of Sarah Silverman's hosting?

SHES NOT FUNNY. SHES ANNOYING.
1Okay I thougt she was funny. I haven't really seen much on her comedy style, but I bet you she was 100x better than Jessica Alba last year. And yes I did like the opening.
2not funny at all,bad beginning.
3she was kinda lame...and rude...lol
4I thought she was funny, but I honestly felt bad for Paris. I mean, I still think Paris should go to jail - she did break the law...but I think it was kind of uncalled for to make fun of her. This is sad, Paris is a person I love to hate (she has pretty good style though, can't doubt that!), but tonight I just felt bad!
Dane Cook was funny.
Jack Nicholson was great.
I didn't like Cameron Diaz's intro speech for Mike, but I loved his dance...and he's Canadian so that gives him an extra plus.
But ya, back to the point. I felt like she kind of crossed the line and made it uncomfortable. I think there is a way to be tasteful and raunchy with humour and I don't think she achieved it.
5I thought she was great! The Paris Hilton thing was so embarassing.
6Not bad but not great...
7Usually I love her, but I was disappointed last night. I didn't appreciate the unnecessary Paris bashing. Totally uncalled for. I was cringing more then I was laughing.
8She was ignorant and I had to get up and walk away every time she started talking.
9Except for the Paris Hilton stuff which I thought she deserved to hear, I thought Sarah's comedy routines were lame. Her jokes are pretty gross too.
10i find her annoying for some reason
11i thought she was dull and her comments toward paris were horrible. they were so mean that i couldnt see the humor in them. they shouldve gotten someone funny like johnny knoxville, chris rock, adam sandler, or ellen degeneres
12I thought she was funny! When she made fun of Paris Hitlon, i fell off of the couch laughing my butt off.
13I've seen much better. She bombed a lot. And for that first dress, was it Dolce & Gabanna. It looked so late '90s, what everyone from Madonna to Helen Hunt was wearing back then. Loved her second dress.
14totally lame. the funniest part she stole from her BF.
15I thought she was funny, but hideous to look at! Whoever was in charge of dressing her in those clothes needs to be fired.
16I thought she was pretty funny. I didn't watch all of it but I did see her opening and some other parts. She is much funnier when she isn't on live tv with restrictions. I actually felt bad for Paris Hilton though. The way everyone cheered about her going to jail, which she handled well, but the penis joke was mean and you could tell she was not happy about it. Then again there is a reason people hate her and dont respect her. I think Sarah's voice is annoying though.
17In general, I think Sarah can be funny, and I appreciate some edgy humour. But right when she has me laughing, she always seems to go too far and wreck it in some weird way.
18I love Sarah Silverman, although I was very surprised MTV went with her as a host. Her "thing" is to go too far. She is at every Friar's roast because she goes too far. I think she's funny. Although 75% of what she says is not for regular tv, which is probably why she didn't come off as funny as she normally would. I loved her hosting but I acknowledge she is not everyone's cup of tea.
19I thought that many parts were funny but most of the jokes were too rude, she was taking it too far.
20I love that she's not afraid to offend. It allows her to be much funnier than most comedians.
21I can't stand her.
22I thought she was really funny. I loved the opening with her flying to the awards on a unicorn or whatever. I loved when she kept calling people on her phone to see if they would present.
23Lame, annoying and not funny at all...
24I can't stand her!
There are soo many comedians who could off done a better job that she did. She's corny and not cute at all....
I can't stand her and she's not funny.
25I thought she was terrible!! I couldn't even watch the entire show because she was getting on my nerves...I think Dane Cook should have hosted, he's actually funny!
26I thought she was bad. I usually like her and I could care less how Paris feels, but last night I just didn't laugh at anything.
27Ok, the only other dose of her I've ever seen was on Pam Anderson's Roast. And she was funny b/c she went too far and it was the right setting and anyone who was watching that sort of show was ready for humor like that.
Last night though was bad. She went way too far with the penis bars joke and it's funny when not EVERYONE is looking uncomfortable. I love to hate Paris but Sarah made me feel really bad/sorry for Paris last night.
Also, I think that MTV might have known she was going to bomb b/c they had a "back up" host (Dane Cook) who was funny. They should have never had Sarah on the show. It's just not her thing.
