Opening March 20, Knowing features Nicolas Cage as a teacher whose son finds an old document with a bunch of numbers on it in a time capsule at his school. Turns out the numbers represent a series of creepy predictions, some of which have already come true. But one of the predictions for the future has the teacher worried that he and his family are about to face something terrible.
The trailer looks a little on the generic side, with Cage doing his best as the worried, stressed-out father who's just trying to figure it all out while making impossible promises to his son. I like the mysterious puzzle aspect of it, though, and maybe it'll turn out to be kinda neat.

Haven't we been-there-done-that with the whole "creepy numbers" thing? Think I'll pass.
1i actually really enjoyed the trailer when i saw it in the theater and i'll probably end up going to see it. i love plot lines like this - and i'm a nic fan - so hopefully it'll do well.

3Is Nicholas Cage crying, worried or happy in this picture? I can never tell the difference. I'm gonna have to wait for a rainy day and rent it to find out.
4I think I would be a lot more interested in this movie if it starred someone else. I'm just not a fan of Nicholas Cage.
5I actually was intrigued when I saw the trailer a while ago, I don't think it'll be one I see in theaters though.
6It definitely doesn't strike me as a very original plot idea, but I would see it. Probably not in the theater, unless my husband drags me. He's a huge Nicolas Cage fan.
