In case you missed it, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson beautifully (and I mean, beautifully) hosted Saturday Night Live over the weekend for his third time. I thought he did a great job — from his Barack Obama impression ("The Rock Obama") to his role as a bitter Hawaiian restaurant performer, I have to admit, I really enjoyed his time on the show.
Hands down, though, my favorite part of the episode (which, to be honest, I rewound and watched at least three more times on TV) was Johnson's musical number during his monologue. It's his way of proving that Hollywood hasn't made him fancy or soft — he's still tough! Tough enough for a skimpy sequined vest over a bare chest. That's what I'm talkin' about.
In case you need a pick-me-up on the first-Monday-after-daylight-savings-time, you can check out the video of Johnson's opening segment if you read more.

haha, that was cute. My dvr did not tape it
1He was AWESOME! I wish he did more/better movies. He's great!!
2Watched Dwayne Johnson as the host last night.I think it was a great show!
He is a great sport! He has the same kind of motto as myself..life is too short to worry about embarrassing yourself, have fun!
My favorite skit was the opening number, and then ofcourse when he portrayed the President of the US and Dennis Rodman
And I bet the Hawaiian dancing came natural for the man. Ofcourse he did spend a lot of time watching the line prompter during that skit
3Thanks, Buzz. I'll be smiling all day.
4I can't view the video because I'm outside the US
5Best SNL in a long time!! The Rock was hilarious. Best sketch for me the was the alien sports center. We rewound and watched at least 3 times. Hilarious.
The Rock Obama was awesome too.
I had no idea I'd be into him as a host, but he was outstanding.
6I really liked it. I couldn't stop laughing at the Dennis Rodman skit and the Hawaiian waiter skit.
7The Rock was a great host and it was the probably funniest episode I've seen in a while. Ray LaMontagne was awesome too!
8It was a funny episode, but the man just can't act. It wasn't funny because of HIM, but because of the situations he was in. I felt like all he was doing was reciting lines, not acting.
9If his publicist is smart, she'll get him on the next season of Dancing with the Stars!
10This was a great SNL. I've been a Dwayne Johnson lover since he was The Rock. My husband and I were laughing during several of the skits. Oh, and Ray Lamontagne...Hello! Completely awesome.
11I should add, I don't really like any of DJ's movies...except maybe The Rundown and he was also pretty funny in the Get Shorty sequel. He does need to chose better rolls.
12I love the Rock....so glad I got to enjoy, even this much of SNL show. Sten
