After an incredibly exciting year of praise and tremendous box office success for The Dark Knight, director Christopher Nolan is ready to start all over again with a new, non-Batman-related project. And yet again, he's getting a big-name A-lister to work with. Leonardo DiCaprio is signing on to star in Nolan's Inception, which "is described as a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within 'the architecture of the mind.'" The movie is set to release relatively soon, in the Summer of 2010.
Nolan wrote the script for Inception himself (just as he wrote the screenplays for many of his other films, including Memento, The Prestige, and The Dark Knight), and it'll be interesting to see what will come from a collaboration with DiCaprio. This does, however, push back any work on another Batman movie. Are you anxious for Nolan to continue with the Batman franchise? Or do you think there should be a bit of breathing room between The Dark Knight and the next installment?

well i think that it's always good to diversify your resume, which is what he's doing and i'm sure that he'll go back to the batman franchise soon enough. this movie will be in post-production before we know it.
1I'll watch anything with Leo--I've loved him since I was a teenager. Such a great actor.
2I'm okay with a bit of breathing room between the Dark Knight and the third movie. I liked Chris's Nolan's other works so I'm looking forward to this one.
3I can't stand him ever since Titanic...
