i wasnt the biggest fan of logan. personally, my fav for rory was dean allover, and a a 'badboy', i reaally liked jess (i just have a soft spot for milo!) but logan, meh, id put him in 3rd place. that said, i didnt like the end of the GG series. and i cant contribute much to the privileged convo, since i havent watched that enough.

Yay! First, I'm sad about tonight. But, Kathy Griffin as a wedding planner sounds hilarious!

And on to the "theory" - I really can't wait to hear what everyone thinks about this.

I always rooted for Logan on Gilmore Girls because he was the only guy that didn't instantly fawn over Rory and she had to "work" a little to "get" him. It added an interesting (and more realistic) dynamic to the show. Because how often in real life does every guy we're attracted to instantly fall in love with us.

And then with Will, I feel like Megan thinks she has to teach him everything about relationships, but in actuality she makes just as many mistakes (if not more) in their relationship. I like how he calls her out on it too, even if it does come off as whiny, a lot of times he's got a point...

But all in all, I like men who are 'manly.' I like men who will force you to reconsider your preconceived notions about people and relationships (and the world). I also like a guy who has a lot of confidence, but is actually a total softy when you really get to know him. (so yea, basically, Will and Logan remind me of my husband to an extent)

plus, they're both hot!

well - i think that there may be something there. these are both little rich kids who kind of want to do things for themselves, but go into the family business in some form....they like girls that are from good backgrounds that aren't quite up to par financially and all that. it's really quite similar now that i think about it and i've never compared the 2 before.

i'll def check out the finale though -i'll be sad.

I wanted Rory to end up with Jess. But I liked Logan. I can't remember if Rory and Logan ended up together? Someone refresh my memory...

Interesting! I liked Logan, but I don't like Will at all. There's not really much there to like. Maybe as the show goes on more, but Will seems kind of cardboard and boring.

I hated Logan and loved Jess. And Will, well, i didn't like him in the beginning, he grew a little (just a little) on me. I wanted her with Charlie, and then he began to act like a jacka$$ and then i stopped watching hahaha

I agree completely with Sy's theory and reasons. I loved Logan and how he challenged Rory. I was so sad they didn't end up together. I think Will is pretty right on most of the time. Megan tends to get a little self righteous and he calls her on it.

i completely hated logan from the get go to the end, but i like will - although he's starting to be a little annoying

I'm so sad that it is the last one!! I think that you are on to something Sy....I LOVED Logan and LOVE Will! I was so mad when Rory broke up with Logan and Megan is really making me mad right now!! Plus, like you said...doesn't hurt that they are both super hot

Logan was my favorite boyfriend for Rory, but I'm not as attached to Will, yet. As many of you have said, I enjoyed that Rory actually had to work for Logan's affections. I hope that Privileged comes back next season so that I can become more attached to Will & Megan.

Will annoys me. I'm not sure what it is but his character is so dull. Logan was okay on GG but I preferred Milo Ventimiglia as Jesse (Luke's nephew) much more!!

aimeeb — So far as we know right now, it's just the end of the season for Privileged. No word yet on whether the CW will renew the series for a second season. Fingers crossed!

I didn't like Logan. I used to hate how he used to call Rory "Ace." I liked Jess better.

I never really watched glimore girls, just some random episodes so i am not sure about logan but i like will from privileged though.
BTW the finale of privileged was awesome, not too overdone.

I can definitely see the similarities between this and Girlmore Girls. Rami the butler on Privileged reminds me Michel frim GGs.

It's true I do have simmilar feelings twards the two characters. I don't like or disslike either. Both of them can be sweet and cute, and both can be really annoying. Both of them gave off a cool and collected attitude before Megan and Rory dated them, then the annoying controlling aggressive side came out. Leaving me wondering what happened to that pleasant, funny guy?

I liked Rory with Jess. I've heard that the Amy Sherman Palladino wanted Milo to come back and for J/R to get back together in the end but he didn't want to. I dunno if that's true but if it is, BOO, Milo. Just.. BOO:( \

That's true, but she definitely didn't have to do any work to get him to date her. She broke up with Dean, and in an instant was with Jess.

Do you think he liked her so much in the beginning? He liked her taste in books and of course she's beautiful.. even if slightly awkward when he first arrived. I always thought he had such fun messing with Dean and he seemed a bit surprised himself when he did fall hard for her. Am I off?

I know this is a bit late, but after catching up with Priv. I def get your theory about Will and Logan, and personally, being a lover of Logan, I predictably loved Will as well.

I absolutely loved Logan and was really bummed when Rory turned him down...has no one ever heard of a long engagement?

Anyhow, I would love to see some ode to Gilmore Girl Fashion- the clothes on that show were great! I know it's been off the air for ages, but I still watch the re-runs. Love it!

I never really watched 'Privilaged', but if that Will guy is anything like Logan, I have to say that I hate him.
Logan made the entire time he spent on GG unbearable. Sure, he had a few good quips, but the guy was generally annoying and his antics got boring really quick. He was not at all a good match for Rory, who should've ended up with either Marty or Jess, the two guys who ever truly understood her quirks and accepted her for who she was. It really ticked me off when they changed Marty's character in season 7, turning him into a jerk to make Logan look better (an endeavor they failed at, I might add). And even then, Marty was still a better guy than Logan.
Logan was just a boring, manipulative jerk who screwed up a perfectly good tv show. GG was never the same after his introduction, where it took a downward turn and never recovered.
Rory should've picked Marty halfway through season 5. The show would probably still be on the air if she had.
