The trailer for Judd Apatow's new comedy, Funny People, has arrived, and it looks like a bittersweet mix of Apatowian humor and genuine emotions. Apatow's wife Leslie Mann stars as the love interest of Adam Sandler's character, with an ensemble filled out by Eric Bana (sporting an all-natural Australian accent), Seth Rogen (naturally), Jason Schwartzman, and those two adorable daughters of Apatow and Mann. It looks like this movie could contain everything I so enjoyed about Knocked Up: a lot of laughs but also a lot of heart.

IMDB says this movie comes out on July 31, 2009. It looks kind of good, but I think I'll wait to hear the reviews first.
1This looks sweet and Leslie Mann mocking Eric Bana's real accent was hilarious!
2this looks great!!! and ill agree penguins leslie mann doing an austrailian accent was freakin hilarious!!

4this looks really funny!
5and oh myy eric bana + real accent = love!
This looks like its going to be good. Did anyone else notice the house/driveway/kitchen is the same one on Privileged.
6i think this movie is going to become my new fav movie. i LOVED knocked up and basically most of the same characters will be in funny people. i also LOVE that judd puts his girls in his movies
7I actually find it a little creepy that udd apatow puts his small daughters in movies. wait til they're older, seriously.
8I love everything Judd Apatow, and I can't wait for this
I just wish Paul Rudd was in
this too...
9Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen AND Adam Sandler? I've died and gone to heaven ...
10can't wait! maybe the next apatow movie will finally star Paul Rudd.
11Oh yay! Leslie Mann was the only saving grace of Knocked Up.
12i think it looks awesome. And I don't think it's creepy that his daughters are in it. From what I've read they love it. It's as good as any child actor gets, they're mom plays their mom in the movie and they're dad tells them what to do. Nothing too crazy
13I love Leslie Mann! She was my fave part of Knocked Up.
14Hey same drive way as Privillaged; this looks good.
15Hey same drive way as Privillaged; this looks good.
16Looks good but trailer might give too much away, no?
17Misshouston, I totally agree but I'd add Jason Schwartzman to that list! =)
18hey, it IS the driveway from privileged! this looks funny too- can't wait!
19That last part about the grandfather going to hell made me laugh!
I will watch this when it comes out!
