With his new online promotion for this Friday's Knocked Up, Judd Apatow has managed to a) provide a promo for the movie that isn't the same old preview we've seen sixteen times per commercial break, b) showcase Michael Cera, who is the star of this summer's other Apatow-produced comedy Superbad, in a stroke of cross-promotional genius, and c) spoof the widely circulated video clips of the tense arguments between director David O. Russell and Lily Tomlin on the set of I Heart Huckabees.

This faux "on the set" clip sets up the idea that Michael Cera was originally cast in Seth Rogen's part as the hapless new dad who accidentally impregnated Katherine Heigl's character, Allison. Untold
This movie does look funny. But the name makes me cringe, lol.
1This is great! Leave it to Apatow and Cera to create the first brilliant parody of the awkward Tomlin/Russell videos. I love when the director says "Your show isn't even on the air anymore!"
2Long live George Michael. i can't wait to see this movie and Cera's new one too.
3HAHA! When Apatow brought AD into it, I wanted Cera to jump up and punch him! Jesus, that was too funny!
4that's classic! LOVE it!
