Yes, Timbaland and The Hives are a very unlikely pair. But "Throw It On Me," the collaboration between the hip-hop producer and the Swedish rock band on Timbaland Presents Shock Value, is actually pretty awesome. Now here's something even awesomer and weirder: the music video for "Throw It On Me," which pays homage to the film Sin City.

If you're confused about what these three things have to do with one another, well, so am I. But that doesn't make the video any less fun to watch. It's so oddly fitting, in fact, that "Throw It On Me" begins to seem like the perfect soundtrack to the movie. So check out the video when you read more

Sin City was SUCH a great movie. I have no idea why I don't own it on DVD yet. Hmmm...
1I Love the song & the music vid isnt bad either...why do ppl always think its sooo unlikely and amazing when too different genres come together?! RunDMC and Aerosmith proved that yearssss ago, i love it when that happens more times than not they alwayyyss sound good, to different music mixes coming together is hott! Love Timberland..never heard of the Hives but its a GREAT combo!! Jay-z and Linkin Park,Nelle and the Tim McGrath, Korn and Dem Franchize Boyz, Sean Paul with Joss Stone,Fergie and Ludacris(hehe), Mary J.Blidge and Bono are some that really got it going on
!! BTW just because someone is Black and sing R&B,Rap,Hip-Hop or
whatever doesnt mean at allll that they dont like Rock, Country or any other type of music just like its the other way around or just because ppl arent from the same country doesnt mean that
they wouldnt love a collaboration with other artistes and blend their music types..i loveee all types of music and when two different ones come along, for me thats awesome!! like Blake from
AI ;)hehe, a TRUE Artiste always looks to try new and different things and dont be afraid to step out of the box!
2It seems like everything Timbaland touches turns to gold ... this song is no exception!
3I love the music vid, and the song!
4I don't really like Sin City though... Ive only watched the start of it (cause Josh Hartnett was in it @ the start) then got bored, Lol.
Love it, love it, love it!
5Great!
6Love the video and the track's not half bad. I preferred Give It To Me as a single, but this video is a million times better than that one.
7i hated the sin city movie, but i like timberland's songs.
8God, yet another stripper video. We get it already.
9I wish the male singers would actually learn some romantic skill, like Marvin Gaye or even Bob Marley. This whole "Let's f*ck!" mentality is so mediocre--at best.
thats awesome, i love the comic idea
10, i love Timbaland !
I don't really know who Timbaland is but I have always loved The Hives, it's great to see them out there having fun again.
11Love It! Timbaland's cd Shock Value is awesome. The song "Time" has such cool beats and She Wants Revenge adds their unique vocals into the mix. J.T. makes each song he sings on a hit. P.S. Chandler, Timbaland is a top producer. He's worked w/: JT-Future Sex/ Love Sounds; Nelly Furtado- Loose; Missy Elliot, Aaliyah, Jay-Z, Bjork- Volta and many others. He has a completely different sound; I love the fact his music doesn't sound like all the copy-cat pop songs being played.
12cool:)
