This is probably a little weird, but I get way more excited about "So You Think You Can Dance" than I do about almost any other reality show (and yes, that includes "American Idol"). In a battle between watching people hit an awesome high note or do an upside-down split, I'd take the upside-down split every time.
The show is back tonight for its third season, with the first of three nights of audition coverage from New York, LA, Chicago and Atlanta. The top dancers will be invited to a call-back week in Las Vegas, with the top 20 performers announced June 7. Then, on June 13, the dancers will start competing for our votes.
i almost always skip the audition episodes of "Idol," but I absolutely love them for this show — maybe because the judges are less mean, maybe because I'm more amused by bad dancing than bad singing. This show was AMAZING last year. I'm so excited for this season!

10I love this show and am thrilled that it's back for a third season. I'm even more excited that all of you love it, too. I felt like I was the only one watching it the first season. None of my friends saw it. It's a great show. And I'm looking forward to this season's dancers.
For those of you who did see the first season, isn't Blake McGrath the BEST!! He should have won, because he definitely is the best male dancer out there right now (in my opinion). I love to watch him dance. Not to take away from all his years of training, but he is truly blessed with God-given talent. He has that something special, that thing that you can't quite put your finger on, but you know its there.
