Slumdog Millionaire won this year's Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture, Drama! This category was full of other remarkable dramas: The Reader, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, and Revolutionary Road.

7I am going to have to watch it before I make my judgment. I thought Benjamin Button was ok but definately didn't deserve and award.
8I went to see it today just so that I could watch the Globes with a better idea of the year's movies — loved it. It was really, really wonderful. So yay, glad I forced myself to do that.
9It was a completely deserved win, not just for this category but for every category it won in. I was ambivalent about the movie at first but forced myself to see it with my mom and week ago. I'm so glad I did, it was absolutely fantastic and hands down one of the best movies I've seen in years.

16I've only seen Benjamin Button and I loved that movie, so I was kinda bummed that it didn't win but I still have yet to see Slumdog Millionaire so I guess I don't if it deserved to win or not.
