- Take that, NBC? Scrubs did pretty well for itself on Tuesday, jumping from NBC to ABC and posting 6.8 million viewers for its first episode, 6.6 million for its second.
- Damage. Damages seems destined to join the ranks of the critically beloved but little watched shows, getting just 1.8 million viewers on Wednesday — down 44 percent from its first season premiere in 2007.
- What secret? The Secret Life of the American Teenager continues to break records for ABC Family, drawing the channel's biggest audience ever (4.4 million viewers) for its season premiere on Monday.
- Not quite ghastly, but . . . Is Denny's ghost hurting Grey's Anatomy? Thursday's episode drew just 13.7 million viewers, which is unusually low for Grey's. Then again, it was airing during college football's championship game.
- On the other hand . . . Moving to the post-Grey's slot gave a boost to Private Practice, which drew 9 million viewers.
- Fall's bona fide hit. In a lackluster season for new shows, The Mentalist keeps rolling, pulling in a series high 19.6 million viewers.

Yay Scrubs!!! Boooo NBC
1Wow. The numbers for Damages are staggeringly low. Hope the show picks up more viewers. Not surprised about Grey's; wonder what the ratings will be like next week when they're not competing with football?
2how did 90210 do this time? I know they were struggling before. Just curious.
3people actually watch that horrible secret life of the american teenager show?
4Hopefully scrubs can sustain its ratings next Tuesday. It did well in the 18-49 too, which may be its saving grace.
As for Grey's Anatomy and Ghost Denny, was there ever any question that it was hurting the show? When Shonda Rhimes said that she had a great storyline for Katherine Hiegl, she either seriously thought that having a posthumous Denny return--again--was a good idea for the show, or she was being ironic and this is her tarring and feathering Katherine Hiegl, a la Major Molineaux.
5is the mentalist that good?
6i've never watched it and want to know,
cause its getting great ratings for being
in its first season.
"Denny's Ghost" is destroying "Grey's" for me. I'm over the tired s/ls...Hope Heigl leaves.
7Yay for Scrubs
.
8I hate that Secret Life of an American Teenager but I watched it anyway. After Gossip Girl of course. I just don't understand how this girl could be pregnant for this long. I don't know how long the show's actually been running but it feels like she's gonna end up in the Guiness book of World Records soon!
9wow, I didn't even know Scrubs was still on. Guess NBC dropped the ball on that one. Got to admire a show that can still hold on to it's original cast members.
10I love Secret Life! I'm thrilled it did so well in the ratings. She doesn't have to be pregnant for the length of the show. It's about the life of a teenager. That can be pregnant, unpregnant, raising a child, whatever. And who knows, after Amy, maybe they can focus on Ashley. She's my favorite to watch as it is!
