There are the actors and movies and TV shows that you predict will win (and if you fill out my ballot, your predictions might just win you an Apple TV!) and then there are those you just really, really want to win. The best is when these two things overlap and the winners are the people/movies/shows you think are most deserving. But for now let's just talk wish lists: Who/what do you hope takes home those golden statues on Sunday night?
Should The Curious Case of Benjamin Button win Best Motion Picture, Drama over The Reader or Frost/Nixon? Should Anne Hathaway take home the award for Best Dramatic Actress over heavyweights Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet? Then there are the TV categories: Steve Carell or Alec Baldwin? Mad Men or House?

strangely i kind of want tom cruise to win for his surprise role in TT - but i think that based on who he's up against, that's not going to happen. other than that - i don't know - there aren't any really huge 'ahead of the pack' type things going on from '08.
1I'm rooting for In Bruges and Slumdog Millionaire. Both were fantastic films.
And of course Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight. That performance was chilling.
2Definitely In Bruges and Slumdog, Heath Ledger, and anything related to Mad Men.
3Slumdog, Ledger, Winslet, House, Laurie.
4I am secretly rooting for James Franco......great acting doesn't have to be serious and dramatic, and he seriously was awesome in Pineapple Express! I doubt he will win, especially considering the other awesome noms, but I would be happy to see him win:)
5I love James Franco in that movie too, he was like a different person!
6In Bruges! SUCH an awesome movie! I hope more people see it!
730 Rock
8I really enjoyed the Reader and hope Kate Winslet wins for that. I would love to see NPH win for HIMYM. Also rooting for anything Mad Men related. I hope Benjamin Button does not win best picture.
9Definitely rooting for Slumdog Millionaire, Sean Penn, Jon Hamm and Mad Men, Kate Winslet and anything John Adams related.
10I'm really rooting for Mickey Rourke to win for The Wrestler. If not, then Frank Langella. If not him, then Sean Penn.
