After breaking Christmastime records last week [1], audiences once again put the adorably naughty pup in the top spot at the box office over the weekend. Marley & Me [2], starring Jennifer Aniston [3] and Owen Wilson [4], earned an estimated $24 million [5] "for a cume of $106.5 million in only 11 days."
In second place came Adam Sandler [6]'s Bedtime Stories [7] followed by The Curious Case of Benjamin Button [8] in third, Valkyrie [9] in fourth and Yes Man [10] in fifth.
Another unusually great weekend for the box office during the holiday season! What did you check out this first weekend of the new year?
