Movie trailers seem to be coming out earlier and earlier these days, so we've already gotten a peek at many of the exciting upcoming 2009 movies, like Confessions of a Shopaholic (Feb. 13), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (May 1) and Star Trek (May 8 ).
So, which new release are you most anxious to see this year?

Mustang
Chilli Pepper
Nike
Harry Potter, no doubt!
1This was a tough one. I went with X-men, but I'm dying to see The Soloist, Star Trek, Harry Potter, and Terminator as well.
2Confessions of a Shopaholic
3Cause the made the movie about ME!
im excited for harry potter, new moon, and confessions of a shopaholic!
4Harry Potter. I've wait too long.
5I also want to see X-Men Origins, New Moon and Watchmen (if it ever comes out).
I want to see a lot of these but I really want to see Harry Potter! Book 6 is my favorite ♥
6That isn't a very interesting selection. I'll have to go with Angels & Demons.
7Have you SEEN the Harry Potter trailer?! Amazing! Can't wait any longer for it.
New Moon is coming out in 2009?!?! I thought they hadn't even started production yet or decided who is playing Jacob...
8Where The Wild Things Are I guess.
9Angels and Demons, Harry Potter, Terminator: Salvation (Christian Bale, my husband), Watchmen, X-Men Origins: Wolverine
and Coraline, maybe.
those are the only ones worth seeing.
10Harry Potter number one.
Public Enemies with Bale v. Depp and Cotillard thrown in is also a must see.
Then Potter again.
11X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The trailer really caught my eye.
12X-men!! And Harry Potter and Terminator! YES!
13"Away We Go"- Because I can't wait to see J. Krasinski as an actual lead.
14CONFESSIONS - i've been waiting so long for that one and i can't wait until valentine's weekend.
the other one that you don't have listed here is New Moon - we all can't wait for the next installment of the Twilight series!
15WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMEN?
Me. Oh god soooooooo me.
161. The Lovely Bones Movie (December 11, 2009)
2. Harry Potter
171. Watchmen
2. Coraline
3. Where the Wild Things Are
4. X Men (esp. now that I know Gambit is in it!)
5. The Soloist
6. Harry Potter
I don't plan on seeing any of the others/I will avoid New Moon like it is the Plague.
18As of now, The Soloist and The Brothers Bloom.
19I can't believe how bad they ruined the Shopaholic movie. Even though it completely disregarded things from the books, it doesn't even look like a good movie in general.
20Wow - it was hard to pick just one! I HAD to make a list (in order) of the ones I would see:
1. New Moon [swoon]
2. Confessions of a Shopaholic
3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
4. He's Just Not That Into You
5. Angels and Demons
6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
6. Terminator: Salvation
I have not heard of Coraline, The Soloist, Watchmen, or Where the Wild Things Are (is this based on the children's book.
As for The Ugly Truth, I'll watch it, but I really cannot stand Katherine Heigl.
21transformers 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
22This Side of the Truth, new Ricky Gervais movie with Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, should be very funny.
23The Soloist, but I am also excited for the adaptation of The Road with Viggo Mortensen, Nine, and Sherlock Holmes.
24I didn't think the Wolverine movie looked all that interesting but I am excited to finally see Gambit in a movie!!
25I picked He's Just Not That Into You becuase I love a good rom com, but I also want to see The Soloist and Where The Wild Things Are.
And sorano916, I'm with you on Away We Go!
Oh, and Ellenora, The Lovely Bones too!
26Confessions of a Shopaholic
27Harry Potter
Watchman
X-Men
and not from the list: 2012 and Knowing (I just love those sci-fi/apocalyptic type movies)
i picked harry potter but i also want to see shophalohic, new moon, hes just not that into you, the ugly truth and my sisters keeper which isn't on the list. maybe watchmen as well, i like those type of movies too.
28I picked He's Just Not That Into You, but I'm waiting for 17 again!
29HARRRY POTTTER!
30is the only one amazingly important to me.
the others I will prob watch include Confessions, He's Just Not That Into You, New Mooon.... and The Ugly Truth.
but yeah HARRRY POTTER IS LOVE
i can't waitt till July!
its almost a tie between Harry Potter and New Moon, but the Half Blood Prince is my fav. HP book and New Moon is my LEAST fav. Twilight book... aw i feel like kind of a traitor...
31Harry Potter!
32Also very excited for: New York I Love You, He's Just Not That Into You, Angels & Demons
Duh..The Watchmen. However if Fox continues to have its way - no one will be able to see it until 2020. By then it will be on Fox Movie Classics channel.
33Harry Potter
34New Moon
X-Men
Watchmen
your missing
NOTORIOUS
35i will always choose Twilight over anything else...
36He's just not that into you
37am curious!!
Wolverine!
38Harry Potter, Watchmen, Angels and Demons, Coraline, and X-Men. I have Watchmen sitting on my table to re-read right before I see the movie.
To be excited for Twilight I think I still need to find the books and watch the first movie.
39Time Travellers Wife!!!
40New Moon! Can't wait!
41Harry Potter
42Wolverine
Watchmen
Up (Disney Pixar)
Star Trek
Since I couldn't pick more than one:
43Harry Potter, Coraline, The Soloist (which more people should be excited to see, it looks stunning!), Coraline, New York I Love You, and The Time Traveler's Wife. It's going to be a good movie year.
Harry Potter, Where the Wild Things Are, Coraline, Shopaholic, Watchmen, New Moon...ooh this year in movies will be awesome !
44Harry Potter, Watchman, The Ugly Truth (if I can get passed Heigl being annoying).
45wtf, i thought new moon was 2010. be smart and don't rush that movie, let it come out in 2010 because YOU NEED BETTER SPECIAL EFFECTS, MAKEUP, AND A WELL WRITTEN SCRIPT!!! don't ruin new moon like twilight was ruined for me.
anyway, my picks:
46- star trek
- harry potter
- watchmen
- x-men origins
Ooh. That's a toughie.
)
47Star Trek (trailer looks amazing and so do Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto)
Terminator Salvation (Christian Bale)
Harry Potter (duh!)
UP (Disney Pixar animation that looks great)
Angels and Demons (the book is brilliant, saw the trailer at the cinema)
Transformers 2 (if its anything like the first it'll be amazing again)
Public Enemies (Christian Bale AND Johnny Depp?! Woweee
I'm still annoyed that the Harry Potter release has been moved to 2009. I should have seen it already!!
I vote Half Blood Prince!
Harry Potter beats the crap writing of Twilight any day. Any. Day.
48I do also want to see Time Traveler's Wife. I hope it does the book justice.
49This was a hard one. I decided Xmen. But i´m altough exited about Confession of a Shopaholic, Harry Potter and New Moon!!!!!
