This movie news is just delightful. I probably would have never thought to put together the names of these Hollywood folks, but now that I see it, I think it's pretty awesome. Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams (though she's still "in negotiations") will star in Morning Glory, a comedy that will be produced by JJ Abrams and his Bad Robot production company. Notting Hill director Roger Michell will direct. Here's more:
McAdams would play an aspiring news producer who tries to save a failing morning show by getting control of its feuding anchors. Ford will play one of the anchors, and the female thesp playing the other anchor will be set shortly.
There's still that other female anchor to cast, so is there any way to make this cast even better? I vote for Kristen Chenoweth (can you imagine her battling it out with Harrison Ford?!). Any other suggestions?

Well, if there is to be any sort of romantic tension between the anchors (which come on, it's Hollywood, there will be LOADS) I think a Susan Sarandon type would be great opposite Ford.
1Great cast, although if it involves a romance between Rachel and Harrison I'll throw up. Nice to see Harrison paired with Abrams again.
2OH MY GOD you read my mind Nitachequita!!!
I was thinking, "They better not be putting McAdams and Ford together in this..."
Hopefully the other anchor will play his love interest. But then would McAdams only be a supporting player? Hmmm...
3I used to be a HUGE Ford fan. In recent years he has irked me more and more. It's sad but I'm no longer a fan.
4Interesting combination
5The story seems like its been done before, but the people involved are awesome. Hmmm...I can't wait to hear more information.
6well i just love that we're hearing that rachel is doing more and more projects. there was a period of time when things were quiet for her i think, and now she's back in the spotlight. that's the best news here
7I'm all for this, as long as there is no May-December romance between Harrison and Rachel. That story is so overdone and frankly, often sickening. (Autumn in New York, much?)
8Ugh! Harrison Ford! Pass Rachel, pass!
