Not quite two months after the birth of her son, Amy Poehler said farewell to Saturday Night Live on Saturday. Not only did she pull out one last Weekend Update (including a pretty awesome "Really!?! with Seth and Amy" about the Rod Blagojevich scandal), but even Maya Rudolph showed up for a farewell "Bronx Beat" segment — with host Hugh Laurie as their talk show guest, naturally.
And of course SNL couldn't let Poehler get away with a precious farewell speech, interrupting her sweet moment (and driving her to giggles) with Fred Armisen as New York Gov. David Paterson wandering into the shot. Still, the big ol' hug Seth Meyers gives her at the end seems so sweet and heartfelt. Here's the video:
Of course, it won't be long till we see Poehler again, as she's starring in the new NBC sitcom from the writers of The Office. But for now, let's reminisce. Share your favorite Poehler moments below!

well i think that it's only a natural thing for her to move on and get her own show since she's been such an iconic person on SNL for so long. she'll do well and we all know that the show will miss her quite a bit.
1One of the reasons why I still watch SNL is exactly Amy Poehler. Now it's going to be even less funny
I love her impersonations (especially Dakota Fanning and Sharon Osbourne) and my favorite characters are Amber (The One-Legged Hypoglycemic) and Sally Needler (The Needlers: The Couple That Should Be Divorced).
*And I also love her on The Weekend Update, of course.
2this was a really good episode, too.
3Aw, that was equal parts sweet and hilarious. She's definitely been an awesome part of SNL.
4Anything she did was hilarious. She will be missed and SNL will be less funny. Might wannt make Justin Timberlake a regular lol
5I will really miss Amy, she brought so much to the show. I think she is really good friends with Seth in real life, so it must be difficult for them now that she's not working there anymore. I miss when they played "The Needlers: the Couple that Should be Divorced."
6I loved it when she was that annoying little girl with the lisp or braces or something.
Ooh - and as Kucinich! That was HILARIOUS!
7Her Christian from project runway impersonation is hilarious and dead on.
SNL will suffer without her but at least they still have andy samburg and Kristen Wieg (sp?)

happy for her and her new baby and new project. sad to see her leave.
9She's wonderful and will be missed on SNL.
