Every year, there's at least one TV show that just doesn't seem to get the attention it deserves. In this installment of my Best of 2008 series, I'm wondering: Which show do you think is this year's best underappreciated gem?

As much as I love Lipstick Jungle, and I really do, I had to go with FNL for this one. It's such an amazing show, and it consistently gets shunted to the side and fails for lack of advertising and a terrible time slot.
Daisies and Privileged!
i love DSM and pushing daisies... (as well as eli stone) too bad they won't be with us for very long..
Friday Night Lights and Privileged
Chuck (although i don't think it is underappreciated seeing its one of the more top-rated/ watched shows & doesn't belong on this list)...so Privileged would get my vote
I adore Privileged. It's a fun show that makes you laugh and isn't too serious
Friday Night Lights. I LOVE this show and this season has been awesome! I hope it does well once it airs on NBC.
On that list, definitely pushing daisies. But I don't know why Fringe and Supernatural aren't on there. Very underrated shows and much better than stuff like lipstick jungle.
My two shows on this list are Chuck and Pushing Daisies, but I voted for PD cuz I feel like Chuck is getting a lot of the attention it deserves, while PD is slowly fading away.
pushing daisies, it is the most original show on tv but like arrested development before it, the fact that you have to have seen the first season to understand all of the little running jokes, which is probably why its lacking in viewers
i hate friday night lights so much i can not put it into words
My mind is telling me to vote for Pushing Daisies or Dirty Sexy Money and to give a shout out to Eli Stone, but out of the list, The Wire remains the most underrated and possibly under appreciated gem to hit television is years.
I can only hope that ABC studios doesn't do Reaper they way it did Daisies, DSM and Eli Stone
Privileged. I love this show, I tell all my friends about it to get them to watch it. Its such a cute show.
Pushing Daisies definitely. I love Reaper too.
I would say Privileged, but I feel like it's getting more and more appreciated as time goes on. Pushing Daisies on the other hand, it's really such a shame more people didn't jump onto the bandwagon.
FNL! great show, great acting..
Pushing Daisies...to bad is not gonna be available anymore
Friday Night Lights and Pushing Daisies. FNL is absolutely THE best!
friday night lights should have won this poll for the last few years! such an amazing show...I really hope this new direct tv plan works
what about it's always sunny in philadelphia?!?!?
Frank: I did not go to Vietnam and watch a lot of good men die just for scum like you to take away my freedom!
Sweet Dee: You went to Vietnam in 1993... to open up a sweatshop!
Frank: ...and a lot of good men died in that sweatshop!
I think it's Burn Notice!
Chuck, Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone. I also love Burn notice and FNL.
Love privileged!
Oh, I think Chuck definitely belongs on this list! I love it (and I voted for it here) but it only gets 6-7 million viewers a week. That's really not great from a ratings perspective at all. I think it's underwatched for sure, and to me that means it's underappreciated.
priviliged, its just a great and adorable show.
privileged and chuck! my favorites!
If Terminator was on that list I would vote for that one. It is underapreciated.
Pushing Daisies and Privileged.
Pushing Daisies! I'm so sad that it's canceled.
i actually haven't seen any of these... or any in the last poll.. how bad is that?
As far as quality is concerned, definitely Friday Night Lights. But Lipstick Jungle deserves far more love/attention than it currently gets too.
With all the coverage that PD is given here it's no surprise that it got the most votes, however I have to say that LJ is my choice. Aside from the last episode, it's been a must watch
I would have to go with FNL. After a somewhat mixed up season last year, the show is really back on track and has been turning out some amazing shows. I am watching it again on NBC in January so that I can show my support.
pushing daisies and chuck
Im going to say Pushing Daisies. It had such promise and was an incredibly beautiful show. It never really stood a chance with all the crap that went down the first season with the writers strike and all..and this year it wasn't really able to collect the fan base it should have. Im going to say my second choice is Reaper.
I voted Lipstick Jungle, but I also love DSM and Privileged and don't want to see any of them go. They are all under appreciated.
Pushing Daisies is going to be the first show I'll be seriously upset if and when they cancel it.
Everybody watch Chuck! That show is hilarious.
I honestly have never watched any of these!!
Lipstick Jungle! I love that show.
There are so many shows on this list that I wish I could vote for. Argh!
Chuck AND FNL!
Pushing Daisies!!
I watch Chuck, Pushing Daisies, The Wire, Reaper and Privileged, but I had to go with Pushing Daisies. I know I have said it before but I am truly heartbroken over that one. At least the Wire got a wonderful five seasons and a perfect end. The others are still on!
soulight -- join me and my box of tissues b/c Pushing Daisies has already been canceled. Even if they don't call it that, not ordering more episodes is the polite way of canceling a show.
Pushing Daisies all the way is the most under-appreciated tv show there is! I mean it is cancelled! even with its majorly loyal fan base!
Friday Night Lights! That show is up there with The Wire and BSG in terms of quality of writing, acting, everything.
I've now converted about 20 friends into FNL freaks
Chuck for sure.
