Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!
As I mentioned last week, Robert Rodriguez is in talks to shoot a live-action movie version of "The Jetsons." So, as a twist on the usual recast challenge, I asked you to come up with a cast for Rodriguez's project. Some of my favorite picks were your ideas for George and Rosy. I love the idea of Steve Martin as George, like several of you suggested, though jadenirvana's pick of Jason Bateman hit on my soft spot for the former "Arrested Development" star.
And as for Rosy, I love that dropstar chose Joan Rivers, LilPeaPod picked Rosie O'Donnell and Linda McP put down Ellen Degeneres. Nicely done, all!

I love Megan Mullally for Rosie. All great choices, but I'm still stuck on Jane...I just don't see Marcia Cross as her. Acting as her yes, but not if we're going for similar looks.
1If this movie gets shot, I'm not sure it's going to be great because it's such a classic cartoon. But I think that it would be cool to see RR's take on it, and to see how the futuristic setting comes to life, since we don't live like the Jetson's yet.

8Buzz, these recasts are a great conversation starter for parties or awkward silences. I always bust out with a, "hey how would you recast the Jetsons?" when I don't know what to say.

12Though I really like the sprouse Twins I think that they are to old for the roll of Leroy. Therefore, I think that Jackson Brundage, from the CW's One Tree Hill, would be perfect.
