After seven years, tonight's the night to bid adieu to Stars Hollow. It's the series finale of the beloved "Gilmore Girls," and all I can hope is that we get a final episode reflective of all the wonderful moments the show has brought to TV over the years. As Rory gets her dream job, Luke gathers all of Stars Hollow for a blowout goodbye party — and his thoughtfulness prompts quite the reaction from Lorelai. This episode was shot before it was announced that it would be the show's last, so I really hope there aren't any unresolved cliffhangers at the end; I don't know about you, but this is one finale where I really just want everything to end happily. I hope it's a happy ending too.
1The only thing that is bugging me is the way Rory and Logan broke up, the sort of relationship they had, I don't think it should've ended with Logan walking off in a huff. Fingers crossed tonight's is a good one.
I agree swwonder! Last week's episode was awful in my opinion. The was that relationship ended was so horribly handled and not realistic at all. I am hoping that the Series Finale help leave the show on a higher note.
2I know its time, but I still want to cry.
3oh my dear god! i can't even watch commercials for the series finale. i've been a huge fan for years and i'm so sad. i do think i'll cry when the show is over.
4and i agree, last week's episode was not fair at all. Logan and Rory had a wonderful relationship and i don't think either would give it up as easy as it was shown. the episode was so sad.
bye bye gilmore girls.
This is a sad, sad day for me. I love this show so much!!!
5(Crying...............................yes....I am still crying.......)
6man it sux that they are ending...but at least Luke and Lor might get back together...
7So, while on the topic of last week's episode, I have been puzzled all week about this and wonder if anyone else noticed: When Loralei and Suki go to pick up the cake at the cake shop, Loralei says, "Just here to pick up the cake!" and she and Suki keep talking a mile a minute. The lady comes back with a slip for Loralei to sign, she signs the slip — all the while still gabbing — and... she and Suki leave the shop without the cake!
8That has been bugging me all week! I like that show, but inconsistencies like that make it seem sloppy. Ah, well. It's all moot soon, sadly.
Buzz - I think it is the new writers. Also in last week's episode during the break-up scene with Rory and Logan they made another mistake. Logan tells Rory a story about what happened during his graduation as if she wasn't there to witness it. Um..hello? She was at his graduation last year as his girlfriend! She would have already SEEN that happen. Sloppy writing indeed. I don't remember these inconsistencies in previous seasons.
9oh, i'm so gonna cry tonight! i can't believe it's over... yet i can.
10I know I'm going to
11I noticed that too Buzz. I was a little confused.
12Yeah Buzz- I guess I figured it was going to be delivered? Funny...
13It's so sad. I have watched this show from the beginning.
14I haven't watched in years but I'm gonna tune in for the finale or at least TiVo it. If Luke and Loreli don't get together the show is dead to me...although I guess it was already dead.
15I'm goin to be sad
I love this show.
16This is soooo sad. I was in grade school when this started and i'm now in college
17I cried a whole bunch, as soon as the credits started at the begining I just sorta lost it. This show has been on my entire friendship with my best friend and the entire time I was a teenager. I feel like I grew up with Rory so last night was quite an emotional roller coaster for me.
