The trailer for the romantic comedy New in Town, starring Renée Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr., seems to tell the whole story, and it looks like a predictable story at that. As the plot description states, "Renée Zellweger stars as a Miami-based consultant whose latest assignment, to restructure a manufacturing plant in small-town Minnesota, causes her to reconsider her professional and personal objectives once she settles into her new life."
And yet, if it's so predictable, why did I laugh out loud a few times while watching the trailer? There's something kind of adorable and funny about this movie, and I'm actually excited to see it. 8This town in Minnesota, New Ulm. That is the town I live in. The director stayed at a friends Bed and Breakfast while researching this movie.

10Oh New Ulm...kind of random but I go shopping there with my grandma day day after Christmas every year. They have some cute little shops!

13I just saw this movie. Does anyone know the name, or model number, SOMETHING of the long brown coat she wears at the Christmas tree, and when she comes back into town to try and talk to Ted on the street ?? She wears it with the hood up during the Christmas tree caroling scene....I went onto The North Face website, but can't figure out which brown coat she's wearing....help !!????
