The next project from Tony Gilroy, writer and director of Michael Clayton, is Duplicity, a spy thriller with a sexy couple at the heart of it. Clive Owen and Julia Roberts play two corporate spies with a romantic past who "hook up to pull off the ultimate con job on their respective bosses." Paul Giamatti and the awe-inspiring Tom Wilkinson also star.
I watched the trailer a few times because I'm easily distracted by how good-looking Clive Owen is, but in the end I think it looks like an intriguing enough film. There's not a lot of chemistry going on with the main duo, but the premise seems fun. And I think the song used in the second part of the trailer is that Bitter:Sweet tune used as the theme song for Lipstick Jungle (it drove me a little crazy at first trying to figure that out). (makes me wanna see Closer again)! Clive is enough eye candy to
hook me to this movie. I'm not use to Julia Robert's playing this sorta character. I found it a bit weird... though interesting...
1they were good together in closer. hopefully this doesn't become some cornball mystery like she sometimes has done. don't waste clive on that!

3Their chemistry is not good (which wasn't good in Closer either... at least I don't think it was). I've never considered Julia Roberts a particularly good actress but I really like Clive (he's a good actor and a handsome son of a gun). Movie looks ok.

5I agree with lilprisci, I don't think Julia Roberts is much of an actress. But Clive Owen in glasses is the hottest thing ever, so I'll totally see this. This movie looks like it could be really fun... I'll keep my fingers crossed!
6i heard so much about this movie when it was being filmed that i kind of can't wait to see what it turns out to be. i'm a huge fan of clive's and i think that i'm also still in the julia camp so it should be ok right?

12It looks interesting enough. I like both of the actors, although (1.) Julia seems like an odd choice for this role (2.) The story seems similar to Mr. & Mrs. Smith (3.) They practically give away the whole movie in the trailer.
13it looks smart, funny and sexy! i've read the script and it's great, much better than mr & mrs smith. it's like a mix between charade and ocean's 11.
