After a long wait — at least one reviewer has compared it to waiting for a unicorn — Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy officially hit stores over the weekend. Now comes the flurry of reviews, purchases, and people signing up for their free Dr Pepper (hurry — that part only works till 6 p.m. EST today!). All of this leads to my question: Do you care about Chinese Democracy?

I have been super-excited, but have to admit I haven't gone and listened to it yet!!! I've been busy! LOL
1Nope, not even a little bit. The only thing it inspires in me is hilarity at the redhead cornrows I last saw Axle sporting.
2The over a decade long wait coupled with the fact that it's not *really* Guns 'n Roses (except for Axl) has made this probably the most overrated/underappreciated album...ever. Had it been released by any other band in less than 2 years, it would be a success. It's really not that bad, it'll never match "Appetite For Destruction", but that was another place and time altogether. I bought it yesterday, the day it went on sale, and I'm not disappointed. But I am skipping the free Dr. Pepper. I'd rather have a Starbucks!
3it's sad to say but i couldn't care less about this album - it's just not exciting to me that they are out with something new. i wasn't in that era before and it's not compelling to me now.
4Heard it...lame. i just want the free Dr. Pepper.
5There is No Slash, No Stephen, Only Axl and Dizzy. So no its not the same and it wont be till they get back together.
6The Dr. Pepper web site is not working for me. It's slow and I keep getting an error. The timer keeps going down though. I guess I won't be getting my freebie.
7I want to care but as CG said, without the rest of the band its just not the same.
8No, it's not the same but there are a few good songs. It's worth one listen.
9Totally irrelevant now.
10Where is the Guns and Roses have always sucked and always will option?
11I liked them when I was 11.
12Now I like their old stuff for fun.
As for their new work...hmmm...good on them but not for me.
They lost me after Use Your Illusion and I haven't gone back - but there is NO denying that Appetite for Destruction was absolutely effing BRILLIANT.
(Oh and punching Sephanie Seymour in the face sort of dulled my enthusiam for Axl, the wanker.)
13I'm semi-interested. I'm not a huge Guns N Roses fan, but I am intrigued.
14Guns N Posers? No thank you.
