Check out my favorite rumor from last week: Amy Winehouse is apparently being considered for the next James Bond movie, Bond 22. Of course, a new rumor swirls around a new actress (or, uh, musician, I guess) every month or so (Carice van Houten and Abbey Cornish have been recent possibilities), and we can probably expect to hear "news" about various women being "considered" many more times before a casting decision is truly confirmed.
In my opinion, Winehouse would be a cool, interesting choice — provided she can act a little. She's pretty badass and she's got the good looks. Eva Green redefined the image of the "Bond Girl" in Casino Royale for being beautiful in a bookish, fragile way, and fiercely independent while also vulnerable. I could see Winehouse redefining the role as well, making her Bond girl brassy and tough with a killer voice.

3okay i love her and everything, but girlfriend is missing a tooth and emaciated...not really what comes to mind when i think bond girl.

18this is the first time I hear that Carine van Houten is being considered as a bond girl and I would love that! She is brilliant! I happened to run into her last week, and she's just so pretty. I only hope that after Bond, there's not just the black hole of silly bimbo roles left for her. Sorry, I know this post is about Amy Winehouse, but I just had to react.
