SAM top two really?

I TOTALLY AGREE!

Of course, I actually wanted Sheena to win... but anyways...

jpullman, I initially really liked Sheena, because I thought she looked like none of the former contestants, and I was excited to see an Asian girl win (despite my last name I am not Asian, but I still liked her). plus I really liked her voice. however, she became too catty and she really never won me over in a picture (other than the swimsuit shoot which I loved).
anyway, I AM SO ENRAGED at the outcome of this cycle of ANTM! I cannot believe that Analeigh did not win! She was so gorgeous and she is the only contestant that did well in the editorial shoots, the commercial shoots, and the runway. How could they pick those two Frankensteins to do the final runway - Nigel even said that neither of them were that good at runway (which is why I thought it was so ironic when they won the Redlight District challenge and won the chance to do a runway in Amsterdam). They both did so badly in the show (as did stupid Whitney). AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, this is the second cycle in a row that they have not chosen the best of the group (how could Anya not have won last cycle!) Plus, McKey?! seriously?! I still can't believe it - and you know it's all because stupid Paulina likes her - what does she know about models today. She hasn't worked for what, 20 years?! Nigel really has the best eye, and I could tell her like Analeigh. uggh, I'm so frustrated, I really don't ever want to watch this show again...

My two cents. I know most people don't like McKey on here..but I do...here are my reasons why:

Eh if you compare all the photos McKey has had the best photos. Anagleigh's photos sucked in the beginning..it wasn't really until the swim suit one or the one where she was underwater showing just her eyes that she started to Shine.

Sam is good but I don't think her walk is any good....McKey has been more consistent esp to the end with the posing....so it makes sense. You can't just hire a model because they are likeable (like Analeigh and Sam). Models aren't always the most classically beautiful people. McKey has great angle and remember in the go sees she impressed the most designers and booked the most jobs eventhough she was late.

Nope. I really didn't like McKey at all. Something about her bothered me big time. I just never got her. Meh.

I really wanted Analeigh to win. After she was eliminated, I wanted Samantha to win and I didn't even like her all that much. So of course, McKey won. Typical. The person I want to win NEVER wins.

I'm disappointed that McKey won. I think she has done a couple good photos but I think her face is way too harsh, especially in person. It makes her look manly. CYL, her photos weren't good in the beginning either...remember all of those boxing poses? At first, I really wanted Marjorie to win, but I also really liked Analeigh and she eventually became my pick to win. I can't say that I'm surprised that she wasn't chosen...I hardly ever agree with the winner of ANTM, I tend to like the runner-up better. Case in point:

Season 1 - Adrianne (eh...I wanted Shannon but Adrianna was okay)
Season 2 - Yoanna (I agree with this one, but Mercedes was great too)
Season 3 - Eva (I wanted Norelle or Yaya)
Season 4 - Naima (I liked her...or Brittany, but she was obnoxious)
Season 5 - Nicole (I liked her at the end, but I think this was a really talented season so its hard to choose. I think Kyle was my original pick to win).
Season 6 - Danielle (totally disagreed with this one, Joanie was robbed...Danielle's voices grated on my nerves)
Season 7 - CariDee (I rooted for AJ or Melrose)
Season 8 - Jaslene - (great photos, but not great in person. i liked Natasha, Brittany, or Renee)
Season 9 - Saleisha (I was originally torn between her and Chantal, but Saleisha's win was reportedly planned out from the beginning because is a correspondent on Tyra's show)
Season 10 - Whiteny (I wanted Katarzyna)
Season 11 - McKey (I wanted Marjorie or Analeigh)

I propose two polls on this subject: favorite ANTM winner and do you agree with the selection of ANTM winners? Haha just a thought

I wanted Analeigh to win but i think it was quite obvious for some time that McKey was their favorite.

here's my whole take on the show. if you've noticed, the girl that SHOULD win never does and that's because a brand like prada, gucci etc would NOT want to have their spokesperson/face person as 'ANTM's winner'. it's just not ok for them. and tyra knows this. so a girl who could have a 'good' career wins, and the the girls that SHOULD will are usually knocked out in the top 4. it's ok with me that this happens - i just wish that for once at least the #2 girl would win.

i've said this the entire season, kckey looks JUST LIKE Mila jovavich and i can't stand that. there's only room in the modeling world for one girl like that. i think that in the runway show when she had a wig on, she looked much better, so she should really grow her hair out. in the last scene of the show when she's hugging sam...she looked just like joana, did anyone else notice that?

anyway, i think that out of the top 2 she should have won, but i think that analeigh should have been there....and i still think that elina or marjorie should have won the whole thing. they are the most high fashion out of the bunch.

have no worries though, you KNOW that you'll see them doing big things in the modeling world in the coming years.

I like McKey, but I think that Analeigh should've won. And why was Sam even in the top 2?

I wanted Sam to win. Her walk was ridiculous, as was McKey's, but there's something about Sam that's so raw and beautiful. McKey takes great photos, but she looks too mature.

I stopped watching when Analeigh was eliminated. I almost didn't watch last night because I was still upset that they kept Sam over Marjorie who has so much potential and it so intriguing. I am done with ANTM!!!

McKey was the clear winner last night and I completely agree. No worries fans of the other girls - They were awesome as well and will go on to model to their heart's content

McKey is interesting and I like her. Isn't her name really Brittany? I think she did WAY better then Sam, but I thought Analeigh should have been top two. She really messed up the commercial though.

this season seemed pretty lackluster to me and like they didn't actually learn any modeling skills.... blah.

I still find it hilarious that the judges view "being high-fashion" as the ultimate qualification to hawk Cover Girl and pose for a Seventeen cover.

From the beginning of the season, Analeigh was my favorite. I am sad she didn't win, but I think Mckey is pretty cool. She is kinda freaky, but that is what they like and she has the most amazing face! I hated Sam from the first time she opened her mouth. Pretty when she shut up, but she never did! I just don't get how she made it so far but I guess her pics were really nice. While this was a fun season, the talent just wasn't as impressive as other seasons.

MARJORIE, MARJORIE!!! She was such a breath of fresh air. Not just a cookie-cutter model. And they kicked her off. Boo. I hope she makes a bunch of money modeling.

Ugh, I went looking for the online episode on CWTV.com and what happens?? They sprawl the winner's name all over the website, so it all got spoiled for me.
But I'm very happy McKey won because although I thought Analeigh was so adorable and probably so un-b*tchy it just scared me, I think based purely on talent, McKey was sen-sa-tio-nal! Plus I'm glad to see a six-footer win (which is my height )

Well of course McKey won--ANTM never picks the most successful model to be their winner. They always pick the wrong girl. I mean if you've watched the "Top Models in Action" thing between commercials, you'll notice a lot of their runners-up have gone on to have better careers than the winner. In truth, being the winner is a career-killer. There has not been one winner I've agreed with (okay maybe Nicole from Cycle 5...but Nik was still amazing). Last cycle it should have been Katarzyna (whose name they never, ever pronounced correctly and that bothered me so much), Jenna should have beaten Saleisha, Joanie over Dani, Kahlen over Naima, and so on. Whomever said that personality shouldn't always been a deal-breaker, many of those losers prove that point. I hate to say it, but models are meant to be seen, not heard.

I called McKey as the winner 3 episodes ago. I like her - she has a different look, and she was consistent. Even though Whitney isn't your "typical" model (size 0), she is blond and fairly mainstream looking. Therefore, I didn't envision Tyra picking another blond the next year. Just my opinion.

No need to be upset for Sam or Annaleigh; just as with American Idol, I'm sure sometimes it's easier to be a finalist than it is to actually win because then you are free to seek representation and jobs you actually want rather than contractually obligated to hawk Cover Girl products.

Let's be honest here....does any of the Cover Girl product placement really entice you to purchase those products? Not me!!

I really like McKey's look a lot. Girl's got legs for days, and lips and eyes that don't quit. I don't really like her personality. I find it a bit dialed down. I like that she lifted Tyra up upon winning. That was um, interesting, I guess? I liked Analeigh a lot, didn't like her Covergirl picture, at all, or her commercial, for that matter. I wouldn't be able to memorize either, though! Sam can be very photogenic! I love that bikini picture of her, the one pictured above, and the one that is Calvin Klein-esque. Like Tyra, I love her down-turned mouth. Personally, my absolute fave was Marjorie, this season. I loved her personality. I wish she could have won. I found her quite Amelie-ish (The movie). I guess it was that whole French-thing going on. She was very interesting to watch, and I was really sad when she was eliminated, but I can see why she was.

blah to mckey winning but double BOO for sam being in top two over analeigh..she was better through out the whole season than sam...and once sam made it to the top 2 it was obvious who was going to win I think Analeigh would have made it a tougher decesion!

all i can say is THANK GOD FOR TIVO. Once Analeigh was eliminated I could have cared less. Fast forwarded to see who the winner was and deleted it. Analeigh had beauty, elegance, class and style hands down over the other two.

hmm everything I was thinking has been said already haha ... I thought this season was boring, all the best girls were kicked out early but then again the runners up seem to have better careers than the winners anyway.

Ew, no, but then Tyra lost all my faith when she sent Analeigh home in favor of Sam. But I really dislike helmet head McKey.

Yeah, I knew McKey would win, but I really liked Analeigh.

I knew since the beginning McKey would win because they rarely get a contestant who has a dolly face and in the fashion industries, they use a lot of models who looks like that.

I knew McKey would win when it came down to those three. I love Annaleigh and when I saw she wasn't going to be in the top three, my jaw dropped and I called Tyra an idiot.

The only other winner I've really thought deserved to win was Danielle. And considering she is one of only three ANTM graduates that received a model card from their agency, I would think she was a good choice to win.

Sorry, I didn't find McKey interesting at all and I really didn't want her to win. Then again, I didn't like Sam either and didn't think she deserved to stay as long as she did. I loved Analeigh (sp?). I thought she had the prettiest look and honestly loved most of her pictures.

And I started off loving Marjorie, but there is no way that she would last in the modeling industry being that self doubting and needing that much coddling to perform.

McKey just creeped me out, not sure why until I heard the comment about the crazy eyes. I always thought she was holding back her craziness.

I thought McKey was good at times, but she wasn't my favorite. I would have thought that in this case Analiegh would have been a better joice. Although McKey did impress me on how much she has changed since starting the show. It was a big transformation, and for that I think it kind of justifies her winning.

Mckey photographed well, but I liked Anna's personality & pictures better.

I think McKey was one of the girls who actually looked like a model and would stand some slim chance in the industry, unlike Sam who really shouldn't have even got past the first few weeks, I mean REALLY?! I honestly thought that Tyra was going to let Sam win as I'm sure she's another ordinary looking girl who would be firmly under Tyra's thumb to keep up this sugary sweet Top Model brand. It was exactly the same with Whitney and Saleisha.

So I'm happy with a McKey win even though personally I would have preferred an Analeigh win. The girl is *MADE* for Covergirl and Seventeen and doing all of the chit chatty promotion that Top Model requires. I hope she gets picked up for TV campaigns or as an entertainment reporter.

From day one, McKey screamed model...one of the few in all cycles of ANTM to have that kind of potential. Totally agree that she was the best, which doesn't necessarily mean it was the best for her career to actually win ANTM.

Ugh Analeigh was ROBBED. McKee is just a crazy ass jokerface and Sam should have been out so long ago. Bring back Lauren Brie.

mckey is super cute and definitely deserved to win. sam just looked like an everyday girl to me... i didnt think she was model-esque at all

I think they were all great, and I think they will all do well in the industry.

i thought sam was a shoe in....LOL... im happy either way though

i completly agggrrreeee!!!! analeigh should have been in the final two and won, or atleast sam. whats her face, the girl who won seems really fake in covergirl commercials!!! so did whitney. im glad a plus size model won, but it seems like thats the only reason they chose her. anya was by far better at commercials and she had a more original look. so did katarjanya, or what ever haha!! whitney just kinda blended in with the crowd.
