Every other Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!
The WB (remember when it was just the WB?) has given me so many earnest dramas to revel in, and Felicity sucked me in from day one. I loved the idea of a "college drama" that portrayed higher education the way I liked to romanticize it, which is to say: full of cozy sweaters, intriguing classes, BFFs and boys. And deep thoughts. And working at coffee shops.
So, who would you cast as the main character Felicity, originally played with a subtle spunkiness by Keri Russell? Then there are the two main men in her life: dreamy Ben, who she followed to NYU, and responsible resident adviser Noel. Who would you cast as her funny Wiccan roommate Meghan, and good friend Julie? I think we should recast Felicity's other friends Elena and Sean, too. Finally, let's think of someone to play Javier, Felicity's boss at Dean & DeLuca.

16no, no, no.... no other actors could possibly live up to the original cast. this was/is my favorite show of all time...it almost feels blasphemous to even consider recasting it!

Oh i wish they'd make a college-age drama again. its all high school and the hills. i do like Greek on ABC Family, but its a little immature. i loved Felicity!

36You cannot possibly recast felicity. first of all no one can be her except keri russell because half of what made felicity felicity was her hair and no one else has keri's gorgeous locks so yah. secondly scott speedman is ben. no one else could come close to his ben character with his astonishingly good looks and charm. thirdly the acting generation of teens now totally sucks. and i am a teen now so its not like im stuck in the 90s i am a high school student however the 90s old school wb like felicity dawson's gilmore was so much better than all this junk thats on the ick...cw now gossip girl 90210 privledged ew. so no u cannot recast felicity but if i were to make a new show about college i would cast it like this

I totally agree with Deely. You cannot recast felicity, and felicity was felicity for her hair. the cw is really quite terrible imiss the old wb so much. i loved loved loved felicity, buffy, dawson's creek, gilmore girls, and everwood. and there should be a new show on the wb network with jared padaleki and emily vancamp i would watch it
38i think the original casts were really good. Can't imagine any other actor to replace Scott Speedman as Ben. He was perfect as Ben, (and oh so HOT!). and this goes to all of the rest of characters.
