Last night's photo shoot on America's Next Top Model made me laugh because although I'm used to Tyra and Co.'s idea of what is "high fashion" and what counts as "fierce," the more I stare at these photos, the funnier they get.
I mean, there are windmills. And pitchforks. And they're in clogs! It's hilariously literal for a shoot in Amsterdam, no? Anyway, it's all part of why I love this silly show so much. In addition to the pictures, we also got to see the girls hanging out and drinking in their loft for once! Is it just me, or has this cycle been sadly devoid of shenanigans?

Thank the lord Marjorie is gone. I couldn't stand one more week of her stuttering nervousness. I don't even know what to say about the rest of them though. Analeigh is probably my pick for the winner, but I have a feeling that McKey is going to win, and for some reason I can't stand her. She irritates the crap out of me and her hair always looks like a helmet.

I also really want Analeigh to win, but I think McKey will. She isn't pretty to
me at all, though, and she seems really man-like. Analeigh is gorgeous and I think it's nice how she was over-protective of Marjorie. I've been in the same experience where a guy is getting
too friendly with my friend at the club and I have to bail her out, but the guy is being a d*ck about it

Ekaterina - I noticed McKey's accent too! I saw a bit of the "accent" this week as well, but I thought I was just going crazy. When I went to Europe, I noticed my voice started to sound different but I don't understand why her accent seems British and they are in Amsterdam
mommie - Only 2 blondes (Caridee, and Whitney, who I don't think is a natural blonde) have won out of 10 cycles of ANTM. Is that a lot? 4 have had black-ish hair and 4 have been brown-haired.

17I am prayinggggggggggggggggggggg so much that Analeigh wins, I loove her , she is gorgeous and looks like model, her pictures have gotten better and better, and I think she is the only one who nailed being commercial - I think she deserves to win.
I found this episode so hilarious ans stupid and painfully reminding me of how embarassed I am that I watch this show. I cringe ant time Marjorie does anything. I was really annoyed at her idiotic drunken behavior and her complete lack of effort on the photo shoot (what, was she hungover?!) - and what really makes me mad is that she barely even cared that she got kicked off while wonderful, sweet Analeigh is standing there heartbroken! I am so glad she got kicked off...
almost forgot, I totally agree that this shoot was so ridiculous and I didn't like any of the pictures.
18I did a great job, but I did not like the picture they chose for her. McKey looked like and ugly tranny as usual (am I the only one who hates her eyes and mouth especially? I never understand why the judges always say they love those two features).
Samantha didn't try, and I cannot stand her face with all that makeup (I think she works better with very little makeup, like on the last two shoots), but she did make me laugh when she was talking about having to kiss Mark Vanderloo: "we're gonna be kissing, Mark Vanderloo, Calvin Klein supermodel! kissing, him, together. wierd..." haha I kept watching it over and over I thought it was so funny!
and , of course I hated that Marjorie didn't try, but I actually really liked how she looked in the picture, except that it was only because of the hair, makeup, and clothing (I thought she looked like a Dolce & Gabanna ad or something)
I just have two questions:
1. isn't Ann Shocket the cutest?!
and
2. am I the only one who is starting to really hate Paulina?! I find her boring and kind of dumb, and I hate how she loves McKey and doesn't like Analeigh. plus, every week she piles on wayyy too much makeup and looks awful (her face cannot take as much makeup as Queen Tyra). I especially hated how she looked when she did the challenge, although this was the first week I thought she actually looked really pretty at panel...

21As much as Samantah is a good model, I would be VERY surprised if she beat out Analeigh or McKey. I swear, each week it becomes more & more evident that the judges all want McKey to win.
22I'm sooo glad Marjorie is gone! She was wayyy too nervous. I reallyyyy want annaleigh to win but i have a bad feeling mckey is gonna win. which would totally suck! btw wth did the name mckey come from? o ya i got 10/10 yay lol
23I loved Marjorie, she photoshoots very well, and frankly her photo on wednesday's episode was my favorite. She looked so innocent and childlike against the harsh background. Either Sam or McKey for the win. I don't see Analeigh as being high fashion, but I think she can be strong commercially. And her photo shouldn't have won, her necklace thing covered up part of her face and the judges always stress the importance of "not forgetting your face."
