A recent story about trusting the TV docs of House more than the ones of Grey's Anatomy got me thinking about which television medical team I'd actually want treating me. They all seem to have their pros and cons. (House: plus one for genius doctor; minus one for felonies committed in the course of treatment. ER: plus one for efficiency, minus one for all the tragedies that seem to befall County General.) All things considered, which current TV doctors would you most want at your bedside?

House! Because if I'm at a hospital and NOT pregnant...there's some crazy s* going on!!! I need House!
1house hands down... hes crazy but his prognosises are usually right on
2I voted for the ER docs. House is eventually right, but it always takes a barrage of testing and wrong diagnoses before reaching the correct conclusion. Absolutely hands-off to the Grey's and PP teams!
3i think that i'd want Greys to be my doctors. it always seems like they have these AMAZINGLY complicated cases where almost everyone lives.
4I've never watched House, there's no WAY I'd let the nutso's of scrubs touch me and I haven't seen ER in years. I however LOVE Grey's and Private Practice, so I have to pick one of those.
Hm, let's see. Grey's docs are young, and while they're good docs, they seem a bit careless and more concerned with who they're sleeping with than their patients.
So, I've got to go with Private Practice. I'll take Tim Daly please!
5Definitely House!
6Private Practice...Wholistic medicine and more doctor-patient one on one. Plus, there haven't been as many deaths as on the other shows/in the other hospitals.
7None of them. The only show I watch religiously is Grey's Anatomy, and I have seen Private Practice on occasion, but it seems like the doctors are very careless and the patients often die. I want doctors who care more about saving my life than who they are going to hook up with in the on-call room.
8I choose scrubs. I really understand their humor and if I'm in a hospital I would want to laugh regardless of the situation.
9None of them! They're all crazy, self-involved, and having far too much sex in the on-call room to make time to save my life.
10I haven't watched anything else but House, considering he is an a-hole he knows what he is doing and he will do anything to figure out how to help a patient.
11I picked Private Practice, you get more personal time with the doctor to bring up any issue you have. Plus so many docs in one area (no referrals
).
12House is insane, the people on scrubs are way too careless(funny to watch not be apart of), and the people on greys are competition oriented.... i don't watch ER so i donno about that one.
House hands down. He might be a jerk but he saves patients. He diagnoses the undiagnosable.
Ironically over the summer I was hospitalized with a serious condition that it normally seen in older patients. Doctors were baffled by it. It was like an episode of House. The fun part? I was at Princeton hospital. (We only have one hospital, Princeton Medical Center. Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital obviously doesn't exist. That aerial shot in the credits is of the Princeton campus)Regardless of the absence of House, my doctors were pretty fantastic.
13I picked House, well, mainly in case I needed surgery then Chase would be there. But also becuase in the end, House always gets it right...eventually.
I wouldn't mind Scrubs either, but only if my condition wasn't too serious.
I would not want any of the Grey's doctors though. They are way too freakin self involved.
14ER because they seem to care about their patient.
15I would want Dr. Cox!
16I feel like ER has always had the most realistic doctors.
If I was gonna sleep with a medical staff, I would go with Greys.
17Is it sad that I've considered this in real life before?
House is a freaking genius. I pick him hands down.
18ER. The house staff is good, but i don't like pain and near death experiences...
19ER doctors look more competent.
people who said house lied. shame on you. i love house, more than you can imagine but i was ture to myself, it'd really upset me if i was sick and they treated me that way. i always go to private doctors like private practice and they're super nice to me, so i'm spoiled.
20no competition. SCRUBS. how amazing would it be to have JD or Elliot as your doctor (with Cox checking in on them), Turke as your surgeon, Carla as your nurse, and the Janitor cleaning up messes right outside your room?
21I LOVE HOUSE IT IS THE ONLY SHOW ON TV THAT I MUST WATCH WEEKLY. I CANT SAY MUCH FOR HIS BEDSIDE MANNER BUT IF ONLY I COULD HAVE A REAL DR. LIKE THAT. HE IS BRILLIANT!
22I picked House, because I love the show, but I'd be OK with either House or ER. All those other idiots care about is doing each other in supply closets and what not. Funny to watch, but don't come near me with a needle.
23house... because i would loveeee to be able to see him in person ahahha even though i'd probably be so scared of him. anyways, his team always saves the day!
24House, no contest. I have a big crush on Wilson.
25i'd choose house, at least he is
26always right even if he is a jerk.
Of course House!...
27House! He is able to do anything! Seriously, crazy diseases, with impossible symptoms. Also he won't let you die because he has a need of getting it right and getting you better.
28I voted for HOUSE cause he can always do it.. plus hes funny lol
but i wouldnt mind some Taye Diggs or Patrick Dempsey lol
29I picked House cause he IS a genius and always gets the diagnosis, not to mention he is so darn funny. Plus, I
Hugh Laurie.
30Scrubs! If JD messes up, Dr. Cox will save me.
31I'd pick Dr. House, but none of the others! They're all too wrapped up in their personal lives to pay attention!
32oh please. if i was really sick and someone was like, "here's your doctor, izzie stevens..." i'd run for the hills. those people are nuts.
33My other vote is a choice between Ben Casey or Dr. Kildare. I know I'm dusting off some old film canisters saying this.
34I'll take Gregory House any day...
