As adults, of course, we can all appreciate a good movie, no matter what the intended audience is — look at Wall-E, for example. I also loved Kung Fu Panda and Ratatouille, and I fully intend to see Disney's Bolt when it comes to theaters, even though I don't have any little ones to take with me. (Then again, I probably won't be checking out Madagascar 2 this weekend.)
Renting these films is fairly low-commitment, but do you ever head to the theaters for a kids movie by yourself, or with other adults and no children?

I usually don't go to theaters to see them, but if I could find someone to go see Madagascar 2 with me, I would so go! I got so excited when I found out about that, LOL.
If it's something I want to see, then sure, I'll go by myself!
Depends. If it's something I really want to see, I'll go like any other movie. The only difference is that I go to a later show to avoid the actual children.
My almost 20 year old brother has made it his life's ambition to see all CGI animated movies ever made, and I'm often the one who goes with him. I don't complain though, coz they are usually hilarious for both adults and kids. One of my favourite movies ever is Shrek.
My friend and I are going to take her little sister to see HSM3 though, I kinda draw the line at Disney Musicals.
I'm so excited for Bolt- it looks so good! I'm a big kid at heart, so yeah I still see all Disney, Pixar, and any other kiddie movies that look good to me in theaters
Well, the ones I would want to see are usually movies from my own childhood including movies that would have come out before I was even born, so renting or buying is more likely.
Ditto Francoishardly, I watch movies from my childhood on occasion, that I already have. I don't go see new animated movies with or without kids.
sometimes i do. my fiance and i go to see 'cartoons' all the time when they are in theaters - and i don't think that there's anything wrong with it.
I've seen HSM3 four times so far!
Yes I will... if it's something worth watching. Bolt and Madagascar 2 on my list of movies to see in theaters.
Yeah sometimes, the last one i saw by myself was Ratatouille ! Loved it !!
kids movies are more entertaining than all these crappy remakes these day! Madagascar 2 was awesome, i saw it last night... i made my BF take me.. haha
aaah, typo, i meant "these days" (like The Day The Earth Stood Still, with Keanu Reeves, thanks for ruining a classic... or the friday the 13th-hellraiser remakes.. once again, CLASSICS!!!) plus, a lot of the new original work blows too... its rare that i go to the movies anymore unless its mega hyped (the dark knight) or looks amazing (Wall-e)
I see about 50% of kids movies - only the ones that interest me (just like all other movies). I did see both Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E three times, and I have seen many others in theatres - Finding Nemo, Chicken Little, The Incredible, Ratatoullie, etc. but then there are a lot of movies that look so stupid to me, like all the Shrek movies - they're just like any other movies, though, and I go see them without kids all the time...
I like to go by myself to see them during the day, becuase it's so enjoyable when you are enjoying the movie and you can hear that kids are too.
I can't wait for Madagascar 2, and I'm getting Kung Fu Panda on dvd for Christmas. I have a Disney dvd library any grade-schooler would envy, and I'm 22.
nah
I'll see them, definitely, if they're ones I think look good!
I've seen Harry Potter and Kung Fu Panda without any children with me. And Bolt looks to be good so I may check that one out too.
Bolt looks hilarious! That hamster is going to steal the show, for sure. I personally enjoy a lot of kids' movies, Kung Fu Panda was really funny.
I was planning to see Ratatouille, but got busy and ended up renting it, loved it! I also rented Happy Feet and Cars, now my older sister is reading Twilight, so, we just enjoy the kid's stuff in this family, I guess. =)
(WALL-E=Love) I usually go with my lil brother 'cause he normally wants to see them too, but I only gowhen it's something really good
My mom and I go together
For me, I will not waste a night out away from my girls to see a kids movie.
omg bolt looks hilarious.
Pixar I can usually sell to a friend or a date, but I'm afraid the others are usually relegated to Netflix, but I still love them. That hamster is Bolt looks hysterical!
Absolutely. Why should I miss Wall E or Madagascar 2 just because I'm an adult?
I love most kids' movies, especially Disney/Pixar. Most of the time I go with my dad and younger sisters to these movies, but I've convinced some friends to see some of these movies with me.
Before I had my daughter I use to go to kids movies all the time with my DH. I am a big disney fan and love animation so if it looks good, I'm there!
Im 27 with no kids and i get very excited with any new animated movie that comes out... it is like the time where i dont have to be a grown up and can enjoy 75 minutes of my time feeling like i was six. it is my guilty pleasure
