Saturday Night Live head writer Seth Meyers recently said his biggest regret about the election-season episodes of SNL was that he didn't get Joe Biden to come on the show. And the more I think about it, the more it really is a shame. Politics aside, Biden's just quippy enough that he could be a fantastic host!
Naturally, that got me thinking about other people I'd love to see host SNL some day. Jenna Fischer comes to mind, as she's got great comedic timing and I'd love to see her star rise further. And those Brooke Shields commercials have reminded me just how funny she can be, so I'd love for her to get a turn on the SNL stage. What about you?

8i have to agree that brooke would be a great host to have one of these days. she's managed to remain relevant and she's got great comedic timing that would just work well with the show.
9As much as I love Jenna, I hope that John would be a SNL host before her. Also, I second Lauren Graham.
10Steven Colbert. It would be interesting to see him do a different character. Or heck his character playing other characters.
I can't stand it when SNL has sports figures or political figures host. It's painful to watch.

12I would SO watch if they got the HP trio to host!! Honestly, I can't stand SNL's current cast, so I'd probably only watch if it were them. Ooh, or Ryan Reynolds.

18Jason Bateman already hosted but I'd like to see him host again. Same for Jon Hamm. I can't really think of who I definitely would like to see host who hasn't already. I might say someone from Pushing Daisies, but I don't even know if the show will continue.

I don't know...I think it would be funny to see Joe Biden do a segment. I think Lee Pace from Pushing Daisies would be a fun host, it could be cool to see him play different characters.
nadioz - Yes, Jennifer Aniston has hosted before. I remember she was in a really funny skit where she played Carrie from Sex and the City and she falls in love with Mango the monkey (played by Chris Kattan), which used to be a recurring skit on SNL.
21Ryan Reynolds. He has the best comedic timing and of course is the world's greatest eye candy.
22Hugh Laurie already hosted, but i would love to see him host again. Not bad for a "British gentleman hosting an American Tv Show." - quoted from what he said when he first hosted SNL.

the proposal is a great movie. He was awesome in it!!
