Okay, my trepidation for The Ex has just doubled. Not only has the release date been pushed back several times to finally this Friday May 11, but now this news: I'm allowed to see a pre-screening of the movie this week, but I'm not allowed to review it until next week. Sounds like somebody's anticipating negative buzz!
Yet I can't understand how a movie with such great people (Jason Bateman, Zach Braff, Amanda Peet) can possibly be that bad. I'm intensely curious about this, so check out my review next week, I guess. Until then, you can watch the trailer if you read more

Have fun at the pre-screening, Buzz. Look forward to your review. From the trailer, I fear that it could be *that* bad.
1something is probably wrong with me, but I thought the trailer looked funny.
2oh man, this is bad news, but I think it looks like it could be funny (although those editors are tricksy folk!). I can't wait to hear what you have to say. I really heart jason bateman and am thrilled he's doing stuff after AD, i just hope something succeeds...
3I've never heard of this...
4I have never heard of this one.
5I like Zach, so I might want to see this.
6haha! It wasn't side splittingly funny, but it was funny nonetheless. And plus, it's like Arrested Development + Scrubs + Studio 60. Well, maybe not but I'll watch almost anything the AD people are in.
7Zach is hilarious and I like most of the movies hes in, but this one doesnt look too good...
8I found it way funnier than Knocked Up's trailer!! I'll probably go and see this one. Possibly because I keep believing that a film with both Jason Bateman and Zach Braff can't be bad.. *Scrusb and Arrested D. addict*
