Halloween may have come and gone for the year, but I still love hearing all about how people dressed up over the weekend. This picture of Kate Beckinsale's daughter, Lily, caught my eye because her little Marie Antoinette costume could have stepped straight out of Sofia Coppola's movie.
I'm wondering: Did any of you pick a Halloween costume inspired by a movie or TV show? I'm still a big fan of the awesome Margot Tenenbaum and Ugly Betty that graced the Sugar offices last year, and The Office crew represented pretty well in Thursday's episode with a Carrie Bradshaw and a handful of Jokers among them. What were your entertainment-related Halloween costumes? And if you didn't wear one, what was the best one you saw?

1My husband and I were Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett.
2i went as Jack Sparrow and I even spoke with a British pirate accent!
3my friends and i went as batman, the joker, two-face, and catwoman [: i was two-face, haha.

8I was an angel, my husband was the host of the party we went to, my daughter was a ladybug and then a princess. No, we didn't do anything inspired by tv or movies. My brother was the Burger King.
The actual host/hostess of our party was He-man, She-ra and their dog was battle-ax. My sister in-law was Eve (as in Adam and...), but was mistaken for Britney Spears a lot.
9I was Tom Cruise in Risky Business (the old time rock n roll scene)! Apparently the movie is getting outdated, cause I had multiple girls my age ask if I was dressed as the "walk of shame". LOL!
10I was Princess Peach from the Mario games. I went alone, and ran into 3 Mario's throughout my night. It was awesome, the costume was spot-on.
11I went as Ugly Betty, my bf was Obama, my best friend and her bf were joy and earl.. from my name is earl. Ugly Betty was definitely a hit, i even made fake braces!!

15a group of my friends and i dressed up as The Office to a party, i was Pam!
16I dressed up as Joan from Mad Men...loved my costume so much I'm thinking of going red. We'll see if I still think that in a week...lol
17My friends and I dressed up as the cast of Gossip Girl. I was Jenny. I was impressed how many people understood our costumes, especially when we weren't all together!

22i didn't dress for halloween this year, but i've seen a LOT of folks dress up and it's nice to have that kind of diversity about what's worn and all that

26My best friend went as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, so I went as Paulette. I tried to get my boyfriend to dress up as a UPS guy, but he wouldn't do it.
