There's some high drama going on behind the scenes on Heroes: Two of the show's executive producers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander are leaving Heroes, with everyone citing the age-old "creative differences" as the cause. According to Zap2It, the two "have been with the show since its first season two years ago and were heavily involved in day-to-day production. Whatever geek cred the show still has, however, could take a hit with their departure."

I'm still loyal to the show, but to be honest, I don't blame the guys if they were the ones who wanted out. Do you think the show is as good as it used to be? Will you continue to watch this season?

it's interesting - as much hype as this show has gotten over the years, i've never watched even one episode, and i think that i'm not really missing out all that much. i feel like there was a lot of hype around the first season, and then things kind of fizzled out a bit.
1I'm still watching loyally. I just stopped taking it so seriously after the unevenness of the second season. It's a whole lot more enjoyable when you just enjoy the ride and don't overthink it.
2I think this season is moving along well. I feel that there were way too many characters last season for everyone to properly have a storyline, and that is what people got angry at. People do not realize that not every epodise will be action packed Hero goodness...there is a story to tell, and you have to see it through.
3oops.... I meant episode....
4I'm at least watching the rest of the season, and I do think it's getting better, but it derailed so much last season that I'm having trouble getting back into it. I'm invested though, so I'll keep watching.
5i just started watching season 1 and am liking it. however, now hearing all of this stuff i'm not sure i want to get into a show that starts off good then turns to crap. i was soooo disappointed with Lost, i'm not sure i can take another heartbreak.
6I like this season better than last season.
7actually i didn't watch last season b/c i gave up after a few episodes in, but i'm really into it this season. except i can't stand mohinder.
8I am a loyal viewer so I'll be seeing it through the season. I think this season is pretty good as it is, though all the family drama is getting tired.
9actually I like this season more then the last few episodes of the last season. I especially like the twist that Gabriel is a Petrelli.
10But I wish Hiro would be portrayed as less of an idiot. It's not funny, just annoying the way he is this season.
I caught up (by dvd and online episodes) in the middle of S2. I was addicted. Now I am not so sure about it. I actually missed an episode and didn't care. I hope it gets better soon. I agree about Mohinder's character being annoying.
11I dunno, there are parts of this season that I like, but a lot of it I don't really like. I'm still watching though, we'll see how it progresses till I lose complete hope.
12I stopped watching after the second show of this season. I was completely bored with those two and decided against watching any furhter.
13Yeah. I still watch it. As much as people complain about the convoluted storylines, I like it mainly because of Zachary Quinto. He wins at being Sylar.
14I seriously don't understand why anybody thinks it's going downhill. I still think it's great! I really like the new turn the story is taking, it's so dark and complicated.
However, I've always hated the actor that plays Peter and I wouldn't mind a bit if he left the show
15I'm not the biggest fan of the show right now, but it was so good in the first season that I'm not ready to give up yet. Bad Heroes is still better than a lot of the crap that is on right now.
16I watched it up until this season. Season 1 was AWESOME!!
17After that, it was okay. I watched the first episode this season and was just like ehh. So that was it.
I've been watching it loyally but gotta admit I wasn't that disappointed there wasn't a new episode last night.
18so, basically, someone said that the series is in crisis, the producers freak out, but I don't see it as the end.
There are a lot, A LOT of worse series on TV. They're fiction. And well, basically we can't have what we have on season one, because we already had it.
I still love the show, I like the idea of more and more heroes and powers, obviously soon or later they will go.
like that show, 24, on what season are they now? and a couple of seasons ago, it was the show in crisis.
All I know is that, if Heroes were on CBS, they would already cancel it like 2 seasons ago.
19i've tried to keep up with this show... the more episodes i see- the less interested i become... i've kinda given up on watching now...
20I try my hardest to maintain interest, but it has gone so downhill since the beginning of season 2. It's just gotten so confusing and boring now...
21I think they needed to hold someone responsible for the critique the show has gotten this season, especially since EW devoted an entire cover article to how bad the show is lately. These poor guys just got caught in the crossfire to make it look like something's being done.
22This season is a BIG improvement over last, but I agree with others that there are too many characters. Some eps seem rushed and Hiro & Mohinder are really irrating me...also all the future/past/present day stuff makes my head hurt at times lol. But I'm still a fan and will continue watch this Petelli trainwreck
23I still love it, as long as Adrian & Milo are on there, I know I'll still watch it. I just wish they get rid of Claire and Hiro. Soo annoying, that would greatly improve the show. Also off a few of the newbies, all this speedster and crap.
24I stopped watching in the beginning of season 2. My Monday nights are too crowded anyway so I don't have time to watch it.
25i still watch it, and it's not as good as the past season , but i'll still watch it untill the end of this season at least. next season (if there will be one) will see.
26I watched the first few episodes, but then had problems keeping up and for some reason, whenever I watched it, I just..multitasked like crazy, not paying attention at all, because I think it was kinda boring me. Anyways, I'm not watching anymore, but keeping the episodes, so I might do a marathon around Christmas or something, if I can be bothered.. If that doesn't work to keep my interest piqued, I'll ditch it completely.
27i've watched all episodes of the first 2 seasons and couldn't wait to see more, but now i've missed about 5 episodes and really don't care. i just don't miss it. i have many other shows to watch that are much more fulfilling.
