I'll admit this wasn't my favorite episode of The Office, but even when it's lukewarm, this show is still one of the highlights of my TV week. I loved seeing all the Halloween costumes in the beginning and I was hoping it would be a whole Halloween episode, but alas, the plot centered on Michael (and Darryl!) helping Holly move, Dwight royally messing with Andy's mind and Pam attempting to team up with Jim's brothers to pull a prank on him.

What did you think of this episode? To read about some of the moments I liked the most, read more.
- Kelly is dressed as Carrie from Sex and the City. "Now can you help walk me to the fax machine?" Stanley wears a mask so he can sleep at his desk. And Andy is a "kitten."
- Creed's Joker impression is eerily good! Haha, Kevin, also in Joker makeup: "Dammit Creed, I've been up since four!"
- Aww, Pam's Charlie Chaplin (at corporate, where nobody else dresses up for Halloween) is so cute! "I can't even take off my hat. Because then I'm Hitler."
- OMG, the first time Michael, Holly and Darryl all belt out "Life Is a Highway" in the car, driving Holly to New Hampshire, is fantastic.
- Adorable Pam: She tells Jim's brothers to come early so they could play a prank on Jim at lunch. "I think they're into the idea. They're probably thinking, that Pam Beasley, she's the coolest sister-in-law on the planet. She's the best! The absolute best." Unfortunately, her plan is overruled by the brothers who want to go instead with their old trick of ranking on Jim's girlfriends, this time ridiculing Pam's aspirations to be an artist.
- Michael, as he turns up "Life Is a Highway" again: "Here we go, fourth time is the charm." Suddenly, Holly's crying! Michael says quietly, "Did Darryl touch you?"
- Michael: "Holly thinks that this relationship is over. Well you know what? I am not giving up that easy. I am going to make this way harder than it needs to be."
- Meredith says she dated a couple guys from Cornell. "They were really nice. They gave me a ride home."
Andy: "I seriously doubt that anyone from Cornell dated you."
Creed: "It's pronounced 'kernel' (Colonel) and it's the highest rank in the military."
Andy: "It's pronounced 'cor-nell!' It's the highest rank in the Ivy League!" - Holly's stressing about the long-distance relationship, to which Michael says, "Here's my wish. I want you to meet a great guy and I want you to be happy. My wish has come true, incidentally, because you've met me and you are happy."
- Michael starts crying (as Darryl calls someone and leaves a voicemail message begging them to call him back), "Please don't do this! Please don't do this. . . I don't know what I'm gonna do. I'm not gonna be OK! I'm not strong! I'll go back to Jan and I hate Jan!"
- Dwight: "Andy, I've been meaning to ask you, which acapella group should I join? The Harmoniacs, or the Do-Re-Migos?"
- Andy is the one interviewing Dwight for admission to Cornell! He tells Dwight the time and place of the interview: "When the hourglass strikes three, then in the room whence employees confer."
- Andy lists Dwight's influences: Dane Cook, Jack Bauer, Eli Whitney. Then Dwight and Andy get into a duel of writing reports on each other for Cornell, ending in Dwight pulling the desk across the room away from Andy.
- Aww, the prank on Jim is so bad! Poor Pam. "Got you." Later Pam suggests, "Hey, how 'bout at Thanksgiving we prank Tom about being bald?"
- Michael and Holly's parting — so sad! And was that really it? I mean, that's it?
- In the car ride back to Scranton, Darryl starts singing the blues. Michael: "That's a really pretty song." Then Michael starts singing with him, smiling.
- Ha! Andy comes into the office with beets from "Bernard Farms," a straw hat and overalls with no shirt underneath it. He says he now has a beet farm.

I thought that they dismissed Holly pretty quickly. Will she come back or is this really the end of her character?
I thought Dwight messing with Andy was pretty good. But, isn't it a tad out of character for Dwight to be able to pull of a stunt like that when he is ALWAYS the victim of Jim's pranks?
I want Pam back in the office...
1I really wish the whole episode was Halloween themed. It's getting really boring without Pam at The Office. I got the feeling that Holly didn't like Michael anymore. It was either bad acting or that.
2I laughed really hard when they started singing and at Pam saying she looked liked Hitler without the hat
3I was dying the whole episode..best show ever! Will be soo mad if Holly is really gone!
4I agree, not my favorite episode...but still good.
I'm hoping that isn't the end of Holly, her & Michael are just way too good together.
Loved seeing Jim & Pam together again!
His brothers were jerks and their prank was stupid.
I loved the Halloween costumes.
Creed was great!
& then Dwight on the elevator, and it cuts him off mid-sentence. ha.
gotta love it.
5I like Holly!
6I hope they keep Holly on!!! I loved the Dwight v. Andy this week, amazing.
7I hope they keep Holly on too. I mean seriously, the looks she gives when Michael says or does something absurd are such a normal reaction from a normal person, but the words that come out of her mouth are sooo weird (but hilarious and perfect). Her and Michael are made for each other.
8Dwight and Andy were on fire in this episode. They made the whole thing for me. I am ready for Pam to come back to Scranton, but I like to see that she and Jim can keep it going strong even with the distance. I really like Holly, and I feel really badly for Michael. They were perfect for each other!
9I too wanted the whole episode to be a halloween episode. The opening scene was TOO GOOD!! (especially Creed's costume?!)
10Holly left too soon. And I didn't like the "prank". I didn't even know if I believed it was a prank. So does Dwight become Jim when Jim leaves? I missed the part with the costumes so I'm going to have to watch it online.
11This episode was hilarious. True, the transition from Halloween to the next day was abrupt--my husband & I both looked at each other & were like, "Huh?"--& Holly's departure was a little hurried, but overall I it was one of the funniest in awhile, I think. I think that Holly will be back, but they just need to resolve Michael & Pam.
12I meant Michael & Jan, sorry.
13Love the show, hated this episode. I didn't laugh once.
14Creed dressed as The Joker. 'Nuff said.
15I thought the best part was the Andy and Dwight dynamic. Without Pam there to goof on Dwight, the show can get a little stale. I hope they bring back Pam. I also really like Holly and hope that is not the end of their relationship. Also, what happened with Jan and her baby?
16It was a pretty good episode, certainly not the best. The editing was choppy - they were all in Halloween costumes and then all of the sudden they weren't.
But there were little nuggets of hilarity still. Life is a Highway (1st time at least), pretty much all of Michael and Darryl, Andy and Dwight, Creed was spot on...
17I was sad that Holly's gone, but I guess a guest stint has to end sooner or later.
I had heard there was going to be an episode with Jim's brothers...I was a bit disappointed by it, I was expecting more from them, I guess.
Loved the Andy and Dwight back and forth.
18I loved watching Michael and Holly's little romance! I was kinda pissed because it ended so suddenly.
But the whole thing with Dwight and Andy was kinda funny. I don't get though why Andy would be mad about him going to Cornell.. maybe it's 'cause Andy wants to be the only one to claim to go to an ivy league college?
I didn't get the prank with Jim's brothers... They were making fun of Pam, but it was supposed to be an insult to Jim? idk, that got me confused.
19As always moments of funny but overall a pretty weak episode in my opinion.
Agree with emms - Dwight's behaviour was way out of character. More like (a less subtle) Jim, although the Dwight/Andy interview was great.
Holly left too soon. I knew that Amy Adams was leaving after 6 episodes but it was just too abrupt.
And the Jim and Pam bit with the brothers? Weird and not funny. Not sure what the point was. Please, please, please bring her back to Scranton. This Art School thing is NOT working.
20Oops - I meant Amy Ryan not Adams
21Yeah I think they were really making fun of Pam. I didn't like that. The whole Dwight vs. Andy portion of the episode was the best part.
22Not my favorite, but still enjoyable.
Loved Creed, but I was so confused by the jump from costumes to no costumes. I thought it was the same day in the office...
Loved Dwight & Andy. And that Dwight bit straight into the beet.
Miss Pam. She and Jim need to be in the room. But ohhhh, I loved Jim's brothers making faces at the camera a la Jim.
23I hate that Holly is gone
I loved her character.
And I miss Pam in the office so much.
Honestly, this is my favorite show in the world, but I've been pretty disappointed with it so far this season.
24Not my fav episode either. I knew they were going to mess up Holly and Michael.
25I find it funny that Daryl is always the voice of reason.
I think Dwight took some que's from Jim on annoying people
Did not like Jim's brothers...I like when Pam said they should prank his brother on being bald
Still love this show
creed as the joker was AWESOME.
26I am so sad that Amy Ryan's character is gone:(
27she and Michael and made for each other. Let's hope she will come back in the last season:)
One question though, why can't she date Michael? Jim and Pam dated each other when they are working together. So....??
Creed as the Joker was amazing. How good did he look? I want Pam to come back...I'm so sad about Holly, and I really want Dwight and Angela to get back together!!
28I didnt like the prank Jim's brothers wanted to do
