I can't believe it's already May! 2007 is nearly half-over and already I've heard some impressive albums from some amazing artists. Part of what made my recent Andrew Bird concert experience so enjoyable was the fact that his new album, Armchair Apocrypha is totally great.
Armchair probably takes the No. 1 spot in my "best albums of 2007 so far" list, though Amy Winehouse's Back in Black is up there, too. For this week's Buzzworthy challenge, tell me: which albums are in your "best of the year so far" list?
Using BuzzSugar's cool Buzzworthy bookmarking tool, just find the albums you love on the Web, bookmark them as Buzzworthy, and tag or title your choices with the phrase best album of 2007. Then, I'll post some readers' favorites next week.

still not sure how to bookmark, but i absolutely love the album "nighttiming" by coconut records (aka jason schwartzman) !
1I've completely zoned out this year and I haven't really been paying attention to the music scene. The only album I've bought this year is Black To Black, I think.
2Back to Black is awesome. I also love the new Feist album, which I bookmarked.
3There's a tie for my fave albums of 2007...Of Montreal's Hissing Fauna and Feist's The Reminder. However, this all may change after I listen to Bjork's Volta.
4I second Armchair Apocrypha, and also love the self-titled album by The Bird And The Bee. Likin' the bird stuff this year.
5I too second Andrew Bird's Armchair Apocrypha...Feist's The Reminder is also very good. I am looking forward to the new Wilco album. But I have to say, so far this year's releases pale in comparison to 2006.
6Musically, 2007 has been great so far. The new Bjork is excellent, and I absolutely love Voxtrot. But the year will get that much better when the new Mandy Moore album drops. Ive heard its a departure from her previous work, which I also love. June 19th, I believe. I'm really looking forward to it.
7i think the best album of the year is feist's the reminder, but i also really love Forest City Lovers' the sun and the wind album.
