It is valid to a certain point. BUT just b/c the girls were raised in America doesn't mean that their parents did raise them in European "ways" and teach them European "ways" at home. What is taught in early childhood has a lot to do with who you become and it can be hard to change... look at people who are in therapy.
***Not saying therapy is bad*** I fully support therapy and think I need to be in it myself. I'm just saying if it was that easy to change there would be no need for therapy or behavior mod programs.

kikidawn, I agree with you about the Amrican vs. European "ways." Home culture has a lot to do with how everyone acts as an adult, or else everyone raised in America would have exactly the same cultural values! Many cultures see emotional displays as a sign of weakness, and it is very hard to learn to let go after being taught to be repressed from a young age.

Ugh my DVR cut off right before I found out who went home too!!!! Usually it cuts off the scenes for next week, but I think that Stylista sneak peak (which was so stupid cause it was coming on next but I guess they wanted to get you interested to not change the channel)is why ANTM ran longer. But I thought it was gonna be Elina who left b/c Tyra was saying to Josyln that she was a survivor ans she would go on to survive? I guess she was saying she wasn't going to survive the cut. I'm so sad she's gone, but not surprised.

Oh and Buzz it was Joslyn who said she didn't have time for immigration because she needed to focus on doing better, not McKey.

I swore I was gonna stop watching if Elina got kicked off last night. Tyra keeps kicking off the girls who are technically doing well for those that have "personality" and it's getting annoying. But, that said, please kick Marjorie off! She's such a whiner, more than any other girl in the house.

10/10 I just caught up on this last night because the CW takes forever to add their episodes online.

I thought it was a bit ridiculous how Marjorie and Elina blamed their European upbringing on their emotional being. They have lived in America most of their lives, so doesn't that make them European-born Americans anyway? Don't you have to be technically American to be able to be on this show anyway? I also thought it was dumb that they didn't think that Elina deserved to be in the holiday photo shoot because she's atheist. What the....

I'm rooting for Analeigh or Majorie to win. I think Elina is a great model too, even though her personality annoys me. Samantha bugs me as well, she seems very ignorant.

If their parents would tell them to shut up instead of crying, they are always going to find it difficult to express their emotions. I thought Samantha was being hutful and ignorant by saying that.
as far as the whole Elina doing a holiday shoot even though she is an atheist - modeling is about acting! and often projecting a message that you might not necessarily believe in! Sheena is such a hateful and mean idiot to say that (don't get me wrong, I can't stand Elina, and I am a Christian so it offends me when someone doesn't "believe" in Christmas, but still).
I just really hated all the girls this cycle except for Lauren Brie (but only as a model, as a person she was mean and kind of boring), and Analeigh for the win!
