Which TV Show Has The Best Finale This Season?

After saying goodbye to Lost and 24 this week, it feels like the regular TV season has officially come to a close — and boy, did the shows go out with a bang.

After saying goodbye to Lost and 24 this week, it feels like the regular TV season has officially come to a close — and boy, did the shows go out with a bang. I'm still stunned by the Cuddy surprise on House and the gunshot on Gossip Girl. I didn't see either of those coming!

While it's pretty obvious which finale wins the prize for most talked about — that honor belongs to a certain group of island castaways — which one was the best? I know that The Vampire Diaries was at the top of your list to watch, but now that all is said and done, tell me which lived up to the hype and satisfied you the most!

Which Season Finale of 24 Is Your Favorite?

It's like TV is hitting us with a one-two punch: I'm still trying to make sense of the Lost series finale, but it's time to shift my focus to Jack Bauer to say goodbye to 24 for good (get a sneak peek here).

It's like TV is hitting us with a one-two punch: I'm still trying to make sense of the Lost series finale, but it's time to shift my focus to Jack Bauer to say goodbye to 24 for good (get a sneak peek here). It's been a roller coaster to say the least, and it's hard to believe that the show was originally only intended to last one season! We've had some good cliffhangers over the years, and hopefully season eight's won't disappoint — especially since we know there's a good chance of a 24 movie just around the bend. Will You Miss 24 If It Gets Canceled?

Jack Bauer may not live to see another day on the small screen after all.

Jack Bauer may not live to see another day on the small screen after all. Word on the street is that execs at Fox are ready to pull the plug on 24 since ratings are down and the show costs so much to produce. The good news is that the 24 movie is still on the table, which means we don't have to worry about Jack kicking the bucket at the end of season eight.

I've run hot and cold with the series over the eight seasons, so I wouldn't be totally heartbroken to see the end of 24. How many times can Jack Bauer really escape death anyway? What about you — will you miss 24 if it gets canceled?

Buzz In: What Other TV Shows Should Be Made Into Movies?

I guess Jack Bauer isn't retiring any time soon: 24 is about to be made into a full-length feature film starring Kiefer Sutherland.

I guess Jack Bauer isn't retiring any time soon: 24 is about to be made into a full-length feature film starring Kiefer Sutherland. The show's two-hour TV movie in 2008, "Redemption," was both successful and satisfying — and a good indication that the big screen version of 24 could be awesome as well.

The Simpsons and The X-Files were made into films while their TV counterparts were still on the air, but it's not known if the production on the 24 movie will start before or after the series ends.

Old TV series have long been mined for movie material; right now, The A-Team and Gunsmoke are headed to the movies, but what current TV shows would you want to see jump from the small to big screen? Lost is an obvious one, while Mad Men has the kind of production value that could translate into a film. What TV shows would you like to see turned into a movie?
