This latest drama from director Clint Eastwood looks powerfully emotional and possibly devastating. Set in the late-1920s, Angelina Jolie plays Christine Collins, a mother whose son has gone missing. A boy shows up claiming to be her son, but isn't, and Christine must then fight against corrupt police officers (who consider the case closed) in her frantic search for answers.
Of course, I'm going to watch Changeling in theaters and I'm curious to see what could be Oscar-worthy performances, but I'm not gonna lie: I'm bracing myself for my heart to be wrung out and left on the clothesline.
Will you head to the theater to see Changeling? Or do you prefer the privacy of your own home for movies like this? You could always wait until it comes on TV someday. Or maybe this isn't your cup of tea(rs) at all.

I can't wait to see this!
1I love the costumes already!
2Is anyone reminded of The Stolen Child by Keith Donohue when they see the preview(s) for Changling?

Great book! I think I'd rather see this book made into a movie than Changling which seems an awful lot like it.
3I can't wait to see it, but I'm going to have to rent it...I cry too much at movies. And this one would break me down to a dry heave I think.
4Oh man, I am not an AJ fan at all but I got curious about the movie plot...boy what did I do that for? I read about the plot and then the story behind it and it really freaked me out. Especially with this picture I saw on Wikipedia...I wonder if the movie will be as scary as the real story was.
5I think this looks like a great film, I've been looking forward to seeing it in theaters.
6It looks like an interesting movie but I'm continuing my protest of never watching any Angelina Jolie movies due to my personal distaste for her. Too bad, if someone else was in it besides her I'd def go see it.
7amycullen2 - this is based on a true story of the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders. It's a sad story. With Clint at the head, I really think this'll be good.
8As much as I can't stand Angelina Jolie,
9I might have to go see this.
It looks like a great movie,
I just wish it wasn't her. ha.
I've added this to my Netflix list, even though I know I'll have to wait forever to see it. It really does look as though it will be a great film.
10I am REALLY looking forward to this! I love Clint Eastwood films. Hopefully this will live up to my expectations; as talented as she can be, I feel like Angelina Jolie's acting is really hit and miss.
11I would love to see this one, Clint Eastwood is a classic. Angelina can be a good actress if she wants to, I loved her in A Mighty Heart, Gia, Girl Irrupted and The Good Shepard. I absolutely can't stand her in those awful action movies she likes to do so much, but at least every now and then she comes up with something very good.
12i can't STAND angelina, so unfortunately i'm going to have to pass on this one unless i'm told that i REALLY REALLY have to see it
13I love Angelina and I really want to see this, but I think I'll rent it. I don't think I'll find anyone who wants to watch this depressing film with me in theaters and I don't want to watch a movie this devastating in a public setting.
14This is why she is the best, multifarious roles and that thing...?? Oh yeah TALENT.
This is why I can't deal with broads they hate to admit the obvious.
15I got to see the screening of this movie two days ago. I'm not a huge fan of AJ either but the movies was good. Every time she cried for her son the audience all cringed a little. It definitely showcased Angelina's acting chops.
16This looks great & I love Angelina & those 20s costumes!
